Change my mind we came away with any of Patrice Bergeron or Ryan Getzlaf or on the low end Mike Richards in 2003 we win at least one Cup in 2012-15. That draft ended up haunting us 10 years later as we the Rangers had great depth but lacked the true gamebreaking 1c that is the hallmark of any Cup winner. Henrik deserved it more than anyone and I'm angry for him that we couldn't get it done for him. Also **** Rick Nash

Maybe if the Rangers didn't overplay him he would have won a cup if they had a decent backup that could take some of the load off of him. I never cared for his style he stayed too deep in the net and never challenge shooters like Mike Richter. So you can keep your European goaltenders.

that is definitely not the reason why he didn’t win a cup lol

How di they not have good backups? Raanta and Talbot both became starters after they left. And how does you liking his style help anything? It obviously worked well for him. Any golie as great as him is going to get paid a lot and can the majority of teams that have won the Cup have a great golie.

thats crazy that you didnt like his style. thank god he didnt listen or he wouldnt hold almost all ranger goaltending records. cup is a team achievement, not individual

If our backups were so good why did they overplay Lundqvist in the regular season by the end of the deep playoff runs he was gassed. There's no way he was better than Mike Richter
