This is usually not a video I like to remember. (YES THIS IS ME) At the time of this video I was going through a rough time with my family. My parents were getting divorced. I was the one to find out my mom was seeing someone else. I didn’t like my mother at the time and yes I might’ve been rebellious but in no way was it my own will to act out. I was deeply hurt and mom put me through this. Last time I saw this video it was at 60K views and I wouldn’t think it’d get more views. It’s now at almost half a million and I find this so embarrassing. Why embarrassing? Because of the comments I’ve read. YES I ended up serving in the Military as well under the Army. The commander of this program passed away last year and I’ve never been so thankful to have a stranger like him in my life come by and teach me things for life.

I jonestly think the barber is,way too savage doing the cutting the way he did. Even if you don't explain your personal dituation IT's more than evidentement that the kid sitting is undrgoing a very stressful situation. Nevertheless, I still think the barber should have seen a professional because the way he uses the razor and the way he cut your hair is not usual at,all. He's got some issues he should solve with professional help. I'm glad to hear your experience in the army and the commander you mentioned above taught you things you remember kindly!!

I am so sorry what you have gone through. It brought me tears watching this and imagined how and what you must have felt during this time. It's not just about the hair cut, it's what has transpired and triggered before and after. This must have been a trauma in a young boy's heart and perhaps it can still play a big role in your life time. But, remember..... it is never your fault. You just got caught in the middle of adult's fight and it is not fair to you. Let that pain go. Let that grudge go because it is not fair to you to hold onto that grudge nor that burden on your shoulder..... because that was not your problem. To top it off, one can gain and learn alot from someone else's mistakes. Thank you with all my heart for serving the country for all of us. It is never enough "thank you"s for all the service people out there.

Ricardo Taylor BRUH. Wtaf is wrong with you? His hair was obviously mutilated off, and it takes MUCH LONGER than A DAY to grow back. That takes a whole YEAR to grow back, and if he was growing out his hair past that length, then it would be MUCH LONGER after a year. Also, a head shave would be a TORTUROUS experience, just the OPPOSITE of great.

I cut my son s hair every 6 weeks. All his life till 18 and he joined the US NAVY!! BUZZ CUT is the best for boys. No head lice, transmitted to my son every year at school. We live in LAS Vegas NV where summer temperature s hit 115° to 120° in the sun. No sticky hair hanging around your neck.

It is taught in the military as well as the military schools that everyone is the same. We all start out looking the same and have to prove ourselves. That is the reason for the haircut. I promise that he went into the school acting and looking like this but did not leave that way. And by the way military school or not why does a boy have hair that long and messy anyway?

It’s just longER than an average SHORT BARBWR SHOO haircut, but it’s still definitely only medium length. 3) He has wavy and slightly curly hair, not messy hair dumbass.

Russell Bogrett 1)Being a normal human and having emotions especially for something that means a lot to you, and even more so when it’s literally a part of you, in his case, his hair is a normal thing. 2) But just because everyone’s the same, it doesn’t mean you mutilate everyone’s hair off. Think about what it’s like to experience that (if you like short hair, then try understanding people who like medium or long hair). And you’re making it seem as if he looked and acted bad, even though he obviously wasn’t.

andrew cluer He didn’t even have long hair, his hair looked good before, and if you think it looked bad, that’s called the awkward stage, which isn’t actually awkward, but if it looks bad to you, then it’s awkward to you. Also, he should definitely grow out his hair again unless he hypothetically changed his mind and wants short hair for some reason.

This boy looks as if he is the highest 13 years of age. Will children be sent to the military in this country? This is abnormal. It does not look as if it was his decision to join the military. Was he forced by his parents to this? If so, then they are sick in their head. The shaving of hair is humiliating. Is that a provision that the hairs are shaved down to the skin, or would be no. 1 or 2 allowed? Because of child soldiers we point the finger at Africa. But it looks as if it is not better in our Western "civilization".

lol felix you can take off the tin foil cap I'm in rotc--I'm currently in my first year of high school I have to get a haircut it used to go down to my cheek bone--Now its completely shaved off! And I wasn't "forced", I just had to because if I didn't follow regulations--I'd get low scores on inspection, or even get kicked out! Just like Jude The Man said, its: 'Military School' or even JROTC its to lead the youth so that you have background experiences of the military

NYMA hes not in the military technically. Hes not registered at all he isn't a veteran. He just has to because he will fail and waste 40 grand in tuition. Also some cadets were forced for bad behavior and sometimes just scared.

This is probably ROTC or USNSCC, he or the guy in uniform at not service members.

this is not the military in the US. you don't wear cover(hat) indoors and he is too young and so are the ones n uniform. That is no US uniform as well.

Brazoncius Roxfort if you look at the title he is entering a military academy, so he was made fully aware of the grooming standards as were his parents when they enrolled him. He might not be happy about the cut but it wasn’t being done without permission

Probably not did he agree to the haircut, yes because he enrolled. That’s the same as saying a student at a procure school didn’t content to wear the required uniform

My first NAVY haircut was less than 30 seconds of scalping fun. What is with this gentle haircut stuff? I watched 18 years of growth fall in my lap as the barber grabbed my hair in a pony tail, then buzzed it off and it looked like a bowl haircut at first. Then he scalped my entire head within seconds. Shortest haircut I ever had in my life! I was skin tight bald. Then the DI screamed at me to GTFO of the chair and go stand at attention by the lines of shocked and bald recruits formed outside.

It looks like the boy's mother took him to this barber shop. Did she force him to get this haircut?
