I too agree on this title change

Looks like there is finally some separation with the NL wildcard contenders. WAS is now on the outs at 10 games under and the remaining 8 teams are seeing 2 distinct groups - STL, NYM, SD, AZ in the upper group and PIT, SF, CIN, CHC in the lower grouping.

The only team you don't want to get hot is San Fran because they hold the tie breaker over us also the AZ they play later in the season on the road plus a double header against STL later..

Looking around the league Seattle is primed to trade for Alonso. Their fans have wanted him there, and they have mid top 100 prospects to do it. That’s my best guess at who would get him. For him I’d do whatever they want just land Lazaro montes, felnin celestin and Cole Phillips would be awesome for the mets.

In no world does trading Pete Alonso make the Mets better this year. This lineup right now is much to good to waste

If the Mets continue to win..... Ottavino will... sooner than later..... once again become a solid bullpen arm. This guy has been good for the majority of his career and it seems Met fans have a short memory with him. I'd prefer him over most anyone coming into a game..... with the exception of Nunez.... Garrett.... Butto.... and Diaz this season. Has he been disappointing?? Yes.....but what relief pitcher doesn't go through a struggling time at some point?? He will get it together after the break.

Some is wrong with Alonso, he is a different guy this year. Not the happy go lucky big dumb polar bear we are used to seeing.

Brandon and and Sal both think he should be traded. He hasn’t been doing anything. They def won’t sign him. He messed up bigtime by gambling on himself and not excepting that Mets offer

The issue is that he isn't doing anything. Which means he isn't going to net back what people thought. Better off keeping him and seeing if he gets hot, unless someone is overpaying big time.

This was the guy who on sports talk radio back in April told you the Mets season was done. It was over. Sports talk radio hosts like this guy, never played the game beyond Little League. Have no inside information or insights to give you. All they are is either degenerate gamblers or in this guy's case a nerd who watches every game and then has a microphone to spew opinions.
