I can't say that Devito didn't play ok but he definitely wasn't that great. Most of his passes was short and you're star players like Barkley did the rest. I mean a 5 yard pass that turns into a 50 yard td, that's all Barkley. But Devito did play well and he didn't hurt his team with any turnovers or try to do to much. He was sacked 9 times and didn't fumble or let it change his demeanor but let's be real he wasn't fantastic by any stretch. Beating Washington isn't hard to do and honestly they dominated this game all the way around except in turnovers and the most important stat the scoreboard. Washington forced the giants to punt 7 times (Washington punted only twice) and forced 1 turnover on downs. Washington was driving at the end and had they scored a td it would have given them a 1 point lead and I'm sure they would have went for 2 to make it a 3 point game but anyways that didn't happen. My point though is it took another int for a td to seal the win for the giants, after 5 turnovers by Washington the giants was still only winning by 5 points, just imagine had Washington scored a touchdown and the giants losing that game while not committing a turnover and causing 5, that would be tough to take. Anyhow that didn't happen and the Giants and their fans deserved and earned that victory. So many injuries, playing with 3rd string qb and the 3rd qb of the season, definitely a team effort and I would be proud to see my team fight so hard. So congratulations again and Goodluck the rest of the season

I’m not sure if I’m actually happy or not as a Giants fan. Lol Because we should be tanking after coming out of the first 10 games with an abysmal record of 2-8. Oh well, it’s always nice to get a win over a divisional rival. Not to mention that Devito looked good today, despite that atrocious display of an excuse for an offensive line. Let’s hope he can perform even close to this level for the remainder of the season, because the QB position is an open battle in NY. DJ just isn’t good enough. I know he has been unlucky with injuries this year, but he hasn’t shown that he can be anything more than a average game manager. He’s been at the helm since we drafted him back in 2019. In that timespan, he has played 5 seasons and 60 games. Only once has he managed to play a full regular season. That being last year, and he still only threw for 3200 yards 15 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. 6.8 yards per completion isn’t good enough. We need more from our QB- this is a historical franchise after all. It’s brilliant to see Thibodeaux having a breakout season, because there was so much pressure on him to perform after last season’s unimpressive campaign. If only Evan Neal would play as well on the other side of the ball.
