New York court denies final appeal to save Syracuse's Christopher Columbus statue
The Columbus Monument Corporation has officially run out of legal pathways to keep the controversial Christopher Columbus in Downtown Syracuse standing.
The New York State Court of Appeals issued its decision Thursday, saying the group's appeal was dismissed "upon the ground that no substantial constitutional question is directly involved."
