This is a lion dance performance by New York Choy Lay Fut on Super Saturday 2024- 2/17/2024. The Performance took place in front of Bayard streets meat market De Chang.
The lion dance is unique in which there was a high pole used for the performance. Additionally, it was a snowy day causing the performers shoes to be wet making it difficult for the lion dancer to climb up the pole. This is my first time seeing a bare foot lion dance high pole performance.
