I live in the US, but NYC *really* needs to take notes and step up their game. I'd rather ring in the new year in Sydney. Their fireworks display rocks.

It may not be as extravagant but the ball drop in time square is tradition. Besides, it would be hard to do something like this in time square, they would have to do it from one of the rivers or the harbor and what’s the point in that if all the people are in time square watch the ball drop.

Seriously one of the best displays in the world. Dubai's is awesome with all coming off the Burj Khalifa, but Sydney has fireworks all around the harbor!

Ughhh, Sydney had perfect weather! But in Newcastle we had a storm and the lighting was soooo scary! 5 lightning’s touched the ground and they were close!!! AND OMGGGG IT WAS CANCELED 😭😭😭

Fish N Chips In Sydney it was raining a bit as well, it was only sprinkling though. Thank goodness it didn’t rain more because than we would’ve not gotten this amazing firework display.
