餅つきお疲れ様でした。杵での潰しは腰をしっかり入れないと蒸し米が逃げるんですよね。 丸餅文化の九州在住者にとって、切り餅の作り方は新鮮です。2019年暮れまでは亡母の指揮のもと、子や孫総動員で年3回餅を搗いてました。尤も餅つき機ですが、甑の湯を常時沸騰させるかまど番は早朝からの重労働ですね。福岡県の旧豊前国、北九州市門司・小倉北南区から日豊本線沿線では、搗き立ての取り粉を打っていないものを大根おろしに生酢を絞って醤油を垂らしたものに入れたのを「すもち」と呼んでいます。餅つきのご褒美です。 豆餅はこちらでは、もろ蓋といった木製の箱に餅を流し入れ、カチカチになる前にスライスしてかき餅に仕立てていました。スライスした餅をビニル紐で短冊みたいにして干す作業がなかなかツライ。

子供の頃は家族そろってしていた晦日の行事や祖父母の家でしていた餅つきを 動画を見ながら思い出し楽しみました。本当にありがとうございました。 今年も応援しています。

おめでとうございます。今年も楽しみにしてます。自分がまだ子供のころ(50年程前)、正月前を、思い出してしましました。一家総出でやりましたねー。あとは、年越し蕎麦…ほぼつなぎなしの、蕎麦でしたけど、またやってみたいですねー！
