Thanks for showing some of us thar attended UNILAG in the early 2000s of how the world famous Yaba Bus Stop now have an overpass bridge that either links to Oyingbo or Ojuelegba Road without stepping on the old NRC rail tracks that street traders do their businesses. A densely populated city like Lagos must always evolve to ease movement. Kudos to the current and previous Lagos State Governments in the ongoing fourth republic for investing heavily in the various railway projects meant to modernise our state that has suffered neglect since it was stripped from being the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria since 1991 under the President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida military regime. 🇳🇬

It's a good addition, and should ease traffic once it's open for commuters. Weldone.

@AfamOrji why are there so much garbage on this bridge already. It seems like people in Nigeria loves garbage. The entire country is full of garbage except for a few states.

Thank you. This must be the first video that makes sense and a better understanding of the new Yaba Flyover Bridge. Thank you for pointing out exact locations and geographical directions. At least i now know which direction is the ojuleba end of the flyover. Could you please explain your location when you ascended the flyover. I know it's Yaba bus stop. Which end of the bus stop were you? Was it Jibowu End or Alago something? end of yaba. I thank you for what you do bringing latest videos for those of us overseas. Thank you.

Where I as ended the bridge is a few minutes from Jibowu. I was actually backing Jibowu which is a stone throw from where I was. Where I was the Yaba proper where the market is situated.

Thanks for that. The area has really changed. There used to be a big bus terminal near that flyover many years ago. Could you please do Herbert Macaulay Way .. Part 2? I want to see Yaba Baptist Church and Reagan Memorial Baptist girls Secondary School and possibly Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School if they are still alive or closed.Thank you

@@anonymousanonymous8929.Our Lady of Apostle Secondary school is still very much there. It is a Catholic school returned to the Catholic Mission by Tinubu Governorship Administration. It is now owned and managed by the Catholic Mission alongside Maryland Comprehensive, St. Finbarrs e.t.c .

G8! Thanks for that update. In my day, I am sure many will agree that it was an invaluable blessing to receive a sound Christian education at such schools in Yaba like - Our Lady of Apostles SecondarySchool, Reagan Memorial Baptist girls, Methodist girls high School, and even St Finbbar's College, Akoka to mention just a few.

In this case, I believe to avoid theft of the iron rails, they used concrete railings which need to be painted

The Hamartan seasonal winds carry massive amounts of fine sand and soil from the Sahara down and dump a huge amount of it in the coastal and delta areas. When the rains come, the traffic in combination with the dust and sand it naturally turns these infrastructure dirty. Painting helps to mitigate the accumulation of that dirt.

The black and white markings are just a cheap way to indicate visibility. In case you're driving in darkness at least the flashing black and white should let you realise where to position your car and avoid hitting the edge. Driving on any road is all about visibility.

The reasons stated below are responsible for why Lagos might not be able to be cleaned: Nigerians are not discipline. Lagos is too small to accommodate about 21 million people. Investors and businesses owner should think about investing in other states. Everything should not necessarily be centred in Lagos. Lagos is not well-connected to other states via train systems. There are lots of reasons but the ones I mentioned need to be looked into.
