I love this trailer. It`s nice to see someone put quality over everything else. At 120.000 its just something to see at a show and enjoy the tour
Looks like nice quality, but if you’re camping, no outdoor kitchen at all. That’s a miss. Then super small refrigerator, no convection microwave and only one burner cooktop. While they have put a lot of work into the chassis and frame and structure, I’m afraid it may be quite expensive for the size, so my guess is the price/value equation will be out of whack for a lot of people.

I'm a single old fart the kitchen would work for me except for the fridge. I would put a larger fridge in the upper cabinet and a freezer below. Great sink. Single burner stove works for me. Probably grill and cook outside with a portable grill
Disc brakes allow one to view the wheel bearing seals. A huge safety benefit of disc trailer brakes! As a 55 year young Colorado Rocky Mountain Native disc trailer brakes a must.
This is very very nice and I really really like it. But to truly be revolutionary, you have to have a great product for nearly the same price as others. I say this because I'm sure Jayco could make a nice 14.5 ft trailer for $110,000 too. I applaud Imperial Outdoors for doing what all manufactures should be doing and innovating. Great job! Can't wait to see what the not so loaded versions cost. I think this is the best trailer I've seen for me and what I would do with a trailer.
some very bold statements and a lot of bashing Australian campers, but this is built with a lot of Aussie parts...perhaps more should be said about building to conditions when criticizing campers, like no, Australia simply does not build any local campers for below 40 deg c, not that I have heard of , why would we?..... Ship one over here,, do a lap of the outback and lets see if you can prove what you claim. Obviously the suspension will hold up as its built in my home town and is one of best in the world, but Bruder has an awesome product too. I would be interested to see how the rest of the camper handles the xtreme claims of " nothing more capable in the world" Some of our roads and off road tracks have a way to rattle almost anything to bits.As most others have asked,, how much?. Every product usually gets better with price, but if its not in anyones price range or affordability ,, ( according to dr google $171000 AUD, not sure if its accurate) then its useless.

They get a bit carried away with the sales hyperbole no doubt, which is all kind of silly. These look like nice trailers, and many Aussie trailers are nice too. No need to say much more than that.
I really like this size and most of the features. The two major turnoffs that are deal breakers is the bed not placed N/S and the fridge is vastly too small. If this was just for me, and not including my wife on the trip, then the bed would be fine. But even with just me going, the fridge is vastly too small for any type of adventure.
Have to agree with the other comments. Super nice unit barring the mentioned shortcomings, but at 125k these should be a adressed.
Did this show the water pump in the same compartment as the electricity inverter?

LOL I was thinking the same thing. I see a lot of retrofits where people are stalling all these expensive electrics with the water heaters and all. I guess it's not a problem lol. Sure a fuse will blow or a breaker will trip....hopefully!
Hey, what is wrong with a Laveo Toilet? The only other toilet I would recommend is a Cinderella, one burns everything, the other wraps it all up! That is it, no hoses, hydro input for the Cinderella, the Laveo is charged which lasts 300 flushes! You never have to see it, touch it, or even carrying it around in it's own case, that you have to dump & clean!!!! Enough! Happy Camping!!!!
Nicest bathroom/shower I've seen in such a small camper. Beautiful ALL around👍!

We appreciate how thorough you were with this tour & the opportunity to get more details. 👏 What a gorgeous off road trailer...it seems to have everything we're looking for! It's amazing that I.O could build a trailer so sturdy & durable for off- roading for blm camping & also provide plenty of power for boondocking, while offering all of the comforts of home. We're so thrilled to have narrowed our options down! We do have a few questions though. We would like a pull out drawer if possible on that pass through - so that we could have an extra freezer/fridge (12v) & griddle - are there outlets in that cargo area?

This is literally the HOME not trailer HOME of my dreams lol. I am a minimalist with exception of some of my creature comforts. and I could honestly see myself living out of something like this if it had the longevity and reliability of a brick and motor home. If only there was a way to make a toy hauler version of it for my motorcycle addiction XD. But you guys make some super cool stuff and it just a exciting experience to watch what you guys make. Keep up the innovation! and keep raising the bar.
ONE KEY! Finally lol. Nice touch Imperial!
Quality craftmanship, quality components, high degree of attention to detail. Love all those things! My thoughts on what could be improved upon is a single burner inside is a non starter. Exterior LP connection to attach your outdoor cookers (as it does not have another option but one tiny hotplate). The water lines and pumps mere inches from the electrical components!? Split a two dollar water hose and watch how many thousands of dollars go up in smoke?? Dont get me wrong as I do love what Imperial is doing! This is a great unit for the right niche buyer. I am 6'4" and refuse to sleep crowded or ducking the entire time Im inside. Fridge at my knees, no outside kitchen, exterior lights, amongst the other things I have mentioned makes this a pass to me but, look forward to down the road to the Roamer 1 and whatever else Imperial has in the works

Yeah, don’t get the single burner thing.
@ryanhammerel2654
Жыл бұрын
The single burner doesn't make sense without the outdoor kitchen or at least an outdoor LP connection as you mentioned. With those, then the assumption is that most real cooking will be done outside and the indoor burner is mostly for maybe that morning coffee and the occasional poor weather cooking when you are holed up inside. It is an off-road trailer and in theory the user buying it to go off-road has a fair amount of interest in being outside in that off-road environment. If that wasn't the case they could spend this much on a nice pavement focused rig with more room to hangout inside.

So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful home. Wow thats an epic build.
Saw these at the EXPO East. I would like to see drawers for the storage under the dinette. Also, I would use less silicone on the interior seams or cover them up with a trim like the seams over the bed. Maybe some cargo netting on the shelves above the bed. The exterior is pretty perfect, maybe galvanize the frame (can you power coat galvanized steal...IDK ?). Oh and the bluetooth speaker may need to be relocated. Hit my head on it when sitting down. Of course there are other things I would like to personalize, but I think the things I mentioned most people would like done. I looked at interest rates tonight for RV loans 😞gonna be tough!
Looks amazing !
Shane I think you'll agree with me when I say, truly that the RV industry better pay attention, Imperial is so far & beyond when it comes down to quality! Yes, they happen to have phenomenal off road trailers, with superior attention to details! The only limitation I see in this trailer is the size of refrig/freezer. That small freezer doesn't look like it will hold but only a couple of days.
Do they have plans for a smaller version with a gross max weight of 3500 lbs for bronco to pull with most of the upgrades installed
The Xplorer145 definitely ticks ALL of my must-have blocks. Even though it rarely gets very cold here in the Deep South, that off-road camper is perfect. Especially because it'll keep me nice and cool inside when it's 100 degrees (with 98 percent humidity) outside. Ugh! It seems to get hotter and more miserably humid every year. I do have a question: do ya'll orchestrate Roamer Adventures from your South Carolina location? I live in Alabama, so traveling all the way to Utah to purchase a trailer and go on a camping trip is a little cost - not to mention time - prohibitive. There are a lot of excellent places for camping and/or off-roading in the mountains on this side of the USA. I grew up in the Smoky Mountains, playing in the woods and camping. If your South Carolina location does Roamer Adventures, too, that'd be excellent!

Is there an option to install a larger refrigerator, say the one from the 195
Would an incinolet type toilet be an option?
Any RV manufacturer could make this style of trailer, if price was no object. But, at the end of the day you still need a customer base that will be willing spend 120k for such a small trailer. I wish them well. Because, the RV industry certainly needs a new standard.

That's a VERY nice, tough trailer; HOWEVER the price point is WAY too high for the typical overlander who would take advantage of its off-road features! I'd love to have a $40-60K version with less fancy interior finishes, cheaper & LARGER 12V fridge, no-heat/AC option (use Ecoflow Wave 2, take advantage of that great trailer insulation), less custom-cut stuff that just adds cost and no airbags, which would fit into the typical budget range for that size trailer. I'd really like that... and a slightly smaller sink that would give you some counter space between the range and sink. I REALLY like the toilet they install as standard! Of course this competes with the Pause XC 16.4 which is also a VERY nice trailer BUT AGAIN way to expensive for overlanders looking for that size trailer. PLEASE COMMENT ON WHICH TRAILER YOU THINK WOULD HAVE SIMILAR FEATURES, LESS LUXO INTERIOR FOR

@@bartman1857 None of that is a very compelling argument for why it's overpriced. 'Has Chinese awning' sounds like an ad populum fallacy. Not sure how you know the batteries are not installed correctly unless you can tell just by looking at them in the video, and that could simply be due to being an early model (and like, the manufacturer probably knows what they're doing, they'll probably ship the ones for consumers with them installed correctly, so that's not really a proper argument), small bed, eh ok but the factor of the pricing probably has very very very little to do with the bed and its size in terms of material and labor costs. The claim of being overpriced really can only be made by someone who understands the cost of producing the x145 vs same-class American/Canadian/Australian made off road trailers. Umm nice fridge but where is the rest of it??? Climbing over your partner to get into bed is a no go!!! 14’ trailer that cost 1/4 of my 5000 sq’ home is a little crazy!!!!
fantastic but its overkill, i dont need all that (wink wink). Price tho?

Whats the asking price and when are they available for delivery? I was just at your Utah location today and didn't see one of these.

@@joeschmoe7951 no need. Ended up going with an MDC XT16HR. Nice setup. The Aussies really know their stuff! Fit and finish was incomparable to the Xplore trailers. The MDC trailers feel like a nice cabin cruiser yacht on the inside. Can’t see any screws, nails, fasteners at all. I went and looked at the Xolore trailers and the other ones they had in the Lehi location and the interiors all felt the same as the typical cheap American RV builds. Pressed particle board, loose trim pieces, delaminating surfaces, cheap fasteners. They looked really good online in the videos, but after seeing them in person I was disappointed. They feel “cheap” when you touch and feel everything.

@@walters0331 Congrats! I'm assuming though you saw their outgoing trailer, not the one in this video. I saw the one in this video and it definitely isn't like all the others. I think this companies claim to fame over Australian trailers is their ability to be used in cold climates. I do not see any MDC dealers on the East Coast so guess I won't be checking those out.

@@joeschmoe7951 correct. They (MDC) are not known for their cold weather camping abilities. But so far it’s been awesome taking it to Moab and other off road destinations!

@@walters0331 Man I looked at the MDC and they look nice with a better price for sure. But all those exposed water lines!! I see now why this guy complains about the Australian trailers. IT's a shame the US can't make things anymore and when we do its garbage or way too expensive.
For the low low price of 120k
very imporT Tant?
All this talk blah blah blah about this trailer and not once did you mention how much.😐

Probably smart because prices change... If people watch this video in a year the price will be different from what it is now

Or you could go to the website where the price is right there in big numbers. Really big numbers.

This makes me chuckle that saying an American made but the most important part of an overlander trailer is its suspension, but once again I see its riding on Australian made & patented Cruisemaster ATX air bag independent suspension. These guys would be better telling the whole story. 👎
Unlikely it's good for health to keep all those batteries right under your bed.
