Would love to get a review of whether and how the game has been improved/fixed mechanically. The biggest thing that broke the game after launch besides the excessive grind and stale progression past 30, was how poor the game mechanics were, so many game breaking bugs and glitches. I'd like to know how those issues were handled and if there still are game breaking bugs in the game, before I waste a ton of hours figuring it out the hard way.

I will say that feeling of stagnation at or around 30 definitely was taken care of. I got to 40 so smoothly and still from there never felt dead in the water. As for bugs and glitches from what I can tell nothing is still there. For sure nothing game breaking or even close to it. Really excited to see how this all plays out though! Thanks for watching :)

I just can't bring myself to pay for it yet. The game was not worth what I payed for it, and I'm glad they're trying to fix things, and I certainly don't mind paying for expansions, however I'm having a hard time paying them money, on ANOTHER gamble, hoping the game will finally be fun.

We have a full ancients quest line. A full corrupted quest line, and now a full Angry earth quest line that includes beast. Next expansion is likely to involve Lost campaign rework.

People saying they won’t come back because of swimming or mounts will play for a few hours and leave, they aren’t worth trying to please so they won’t be missed and haven’t been for 2 years 🤷‍♂️

Yeah probably true for many. But hey, maybe this is just the catalyst to get people trying the game again and realizing all the improvements they've made and sticking with it. Who knows! Thanks for watching :)

sad that they are so late for this :( came back like 4 times to see no actual progression. imagine a casual player who does not even want to bother with end game : no gold no stuff, no end game stuff no pvp, from beginning that was a mistake. medium/level brackets are key.

...what is new world? Must have missed it when it came out of it really is 2 years old. Must not have been a big deal.

@@aFoolsMartyr You just described 20 games that came out in the last 2 years. They all run together in my mind. Starfield is the current example of a game everyone is obsessed with and I won't be able to remember the name of next month

If expansions are annual than haveing it be 5lvls an expansion is telling of life expetancy

I feel like the level increase choice is pretty arbitrary anyways. I guess probably safer to start low to reduce bloat later. Thanks for watching :)

dont call a reskinned zone a "new zone" lol, we have had reworks in NW bevore for monarchs,everfall,windsward partially its not new zone its a reskin and if im totally honest not enough for an expansion. there are 2 zones datamined dunwood and the one north of morningdale for me personally they HAVE to be on the 2024 roadmap otherwhise the content will dry up rly fast since there is not a whole lot added in the expansion it focuses more on fixing bad gearing systems etc.

Yeah I have a guess this zone change is just one of many to follow with regards to the xpac theme and updates

still cant swim, not going to bother with NW till that is added

Yes refuse to play until you are allowed to swim for 10 seconds 3 to 4 times a month, crossing a river you could have ran around.. Makes complete sense to not play a game because it doesn't have swimming....

I actually will defend not being able to swim because it makes the water a sitting duck style hazard. Also it doesn't make sense realistically because of your gear weight not that I care about that but "realism" is an argument against it.

it may never be added and thats fine with me, AGS screwed me over during launch and has terrible customer service. Unless pigs fly for NW, GW2 is a better game worth my time

even a good update won't help that dead game.

Game is alive and well.. and SOOOOO much fun i'm loving all the changes on the PTR so this defiantly helped NW a lot lol.
