Shows like this where the U.S.S.R. was fully operational yet beginning to show the end, makes us realize just how recent the after effects of WW2 really was... and now history seems to be repeating itself nearly 100 years later.

Yes, sadly. The Ukrainian invasion by Russia's Putin, who seems to want the Iron Wall back... Chernobyl, alas. But you obviously know a bit about the consequences of historical decisions, good and bad. Sociologically speaking.

In 1976 my senior year in a small high school it was my only year there. I showed up to the Prom dressed like Herb. White belt,shoes, loud jacket. Solo. I didn't, however leave solo ! A Jennifer look alike! 2 days later I was home washing my Oldsmobile Cutlass Rocket 350 wearing a pair of cutoffs washing it not knowing mom, dad, little brothers were looking out the window at me rinsing butt cheek implants off the Pearl White paint Job 😮. "Where's your clothes?"? Me: say again?" I had my diploma and a silver cup I'd won from a motorcycle race and was drinking from. Everyone was amused, especially DAD who understood. Next stop? NAVY boot camp. You're welcome.😅
