I am SO SORRY and sad to hear she responded that way. That is beyond sad --- saying something like that to her own daughter, and for you to hear that from your own mother. It took courage to tell her, but it took true faith in Jesus to make that decision!! In my opinion, "that" takes precedence over worrying about offending others. I hope your mother comes to her senses and accepts you as her daughter again. Who knows, maybe one day she too could develop a personal relationship with Jesus!! It's not about "religion," but so many people can't understand this...

I had a painful conversation with my mother before her passing telling her I do not need to leave anything on earth as long as she accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour and Christ shall take care of me on earth. I feel quite uncomfortable reading this. You cannot say that you love your wife & Christ so very much, and at the same time, get yourself into adultery. Leave emotions out of this and be true to yourself. It seems you are living your life based on emotions. One day, your emotions for this song, shall wane low, the same way, they did for your wife. What shall you do? Find another song? Very sorry for not 'empathasing', with you. This is because you need to be responsible and know that, there is no way that you can love & honour your wife and at the same time cheat on her. Please look hard at yourself & make amends with your own life. Otherwise, it shall be a yoyoyo life. You are very lucky that your wife has forgiven you. Finally, i if this is your real name, did you first ask your wife, if its OK to share, such intimate private details of your life, with the world? Surely? I very much doubt, she said yes!! Please honour her & live by your vow.

This is my new theme song. 3 weeks ago my wife left with the kids, and I was totally crushed. I couldn't go to my church out of embarrassment. Last week God called me to church, the day of Pentecost nonetheless. I didn't understand why. Our worship team introduced this song, and it spoke to me. God was speaking to me. He is using this crushing moment to press new wine out of me, to make me His. He is calling me back. Praise the Lord, as this week I got to see my kids and my wife. And even though it's a short time, she says I seem different. I am in counselling and this song is inspiring me to keep going.

I grew up in a convent. Thete was a statue of a cross with Jesus hanging on it, a homeless msn csme up to me and looked up to it, he had crutches He was very angry and cursing at it. I said leave your crutches, so he dropped them and WALKED

I love that, "I wasn't trying to write it" that is how the Holy Spirit flows, especially when we are, "on my knees before God" and it certainly is a prayer, and such a beautiful inspired loving prayer, and such a blessing. If i would be so bold as to speak on Gods behalf, I expect he would say to you, "well done my son, keep doing that, yes that right there, keep doing it, this is how i made you."
