Perhaps that first Wigfrid skill would be better if it simply _added_ a cooldown? So, you can use the song once and let it cool down without consuming inspiration, but you can then use it a second time _while_ it's on cooldown and it uses inspiration like normal.

Wigrid has some of the least synergy with beefalo. Beefalo are good for their speed and hp, and ornery beefalo damage is nice if you're not playing a combat character, which Wigfrid is. Wigfrid only really benefits from the speed, so she's best off going with a rider beefalo and a glossamer saddle and dismounting for combat. The beefalo section of the tree is pretty disappointing as the first two skills are only good for domestication, which can be finished by early winter if you really try, and the other two skills aren't worth taking.

@@bubblesbomb8949 if anything I'd change the battle saddle so that it allows wigfrid to attack from the back of a beefalo while bringing a rider beefalo's speed down to reasonable levels, maybe magi+walking cane speed.

why a beefalo tab for wigfrid if she doesn't even get inspiration by attacking with beefalo????, i hope they either change it to something else or buff these skills with new fuctions, also, wouldn't this make more sense on a Walter Skill Tree??? Edit:Wig does actually get inspiration on beefalo, however the beefalo doesn't get the 25% damage boost, i mixed up the things

@@arisenspirit wdym? Beefalo are an excellent choice for walter, just like maxwell and wes, it removes the danger of taking damage on top of you being able to use the slingshot, unless you mean they will maybe just remove the bucking off from Woby getting hit 🤔

Light skills free up lantern and lanter fuel slots till the endgame , and overall a great quality of life , if you ask me. Everyone overlooks how it can just make your life that much faster. Faster lsntern , faster refueling, faster scavaging.

Also, really excited for the Wes skill tree. :)

I may be wrong, but right now, I think Combustion only works if caves are disabled. I have a normal world and a testing world that's in single player as well with the Don't Starve Alone mod, which shuts down the caves server till you enter it to get rid of caves lag. And while Combustion works in my testing world, it doesn't in my normal world which is multiplayer and has caves

The only thing I like about Wigfrid skilltree is the lightning spear, not because of combat but because I can now mass produce voltgoat horns using construction amulet to craft it and and use deconstruction staff.

I might be wrong, but while testing it felt like there are i-frames, but only for like 0.5 second during, or at the start of dash animation.

I did some testing and maybe there are some I frames but after reviewing footage wigfrid has a hit box which simply teleports to the destination, at no point does your hit box disappear.

Fire fighter only works for setting things on fire, not lunar/shadow flames

The beefalo part is really strange... Beefalo doesn't benefit any of wigfrid's damage modifier, she is just not suitable for beefalo fighting, why give this to her? why not wendy or walter?

With the cooldown skill yes, but iirc it only lasts 4 seconds and has a 1 second casting animation, so you'd use it, get 3 seconds to attack before having to use it again

Fun fact:by stacking multiple fireballs you can create infynite sanity spot for maxwell and wickerbotom. Just you shall use mooncaller in winter and ice cube for them not to overheat.

the shield is super fun but just not good. you'll basically never use it over her new weapon except during early game. it needs balancing. would be cool if it had no cooldown once you first equip, but only protects against 95%, unless you get a perfect block, In which it's 100. maybe it should also be a little more expensive too, in this case.

I'm not a Willow main (yet) and I play mainly Maxwell, Wanda and Wendy so I don't use the skilltrees at all. To unlock the blueflame I just have to kill Celestial Champion right?

I haven't noticed anyone else say it so.. The wigfrid items are just forge items fitted for the main game(not saying that's bad, I love the forge) The shield is blacksmith's edge but can only block, and the lightning spear is pith's pike (which wigfrid starts with) but actually just better(because lightning damage and higher base dps).

Usually you won't use your songs unless you're in a boss fight, and the lunar bosses total health pool is greater than the shadow bosses :)

honestly pretty cool but. Idk something especially with willow now feels numb. As if dont starve is not a simple game any more, it is more arcade and far more skillful and mechanical. To a point it makes you question why would i play willson, or wendy, or whess when there are champions with better skills petter puppets and more fun abilities. Fuck even woolfgang isnt worth the time anymore. He has to work out all fuckin day, he has to have minigames like a gym or other stuff, he has a useless skilltree that eats you lots of time for almost nothing. Then you have the planar dmg, it is almost useless but when it comes to lunar bosses, it is so helpful that you wonder why do the guardian with a champion that doesnt have a skill tree yet. Why does maxwell have 75 health and high utility and cool spells when willow has better spells with better dmg and dmg redunction and 100 different stuff? She is literally a fire witch , she throws fires in areas of effect with 100dmg each. LIKE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE GAME? players were supposed to be diverse and give a different tint in the gameplay but at this point you enter with a friend, and while your skill is to make purple diamonds and grow a beard, he goes and 1v1s bee queen day 3 with fires and puppets and tanks 100 hits.

What the fuck is easy about him? he the only guy who cant wear a backpack in a cabe, yes he has the damn hat but the hat doesnt carry stuff outside of the cave. He cannot fight most bosses while tanking agro, and he has to heal often. He is not as easy as you make it sound, willow was like wilson, a simple champion with a different touch, maxwell is anarchy in its finest, he is high risk high reward, with the weirdest playstyle in the hole game. With the changes happening right now the game has completely changed that, champions do not look alike at all in playstyle now, they all got something crazy on them, but i see nothing worth enough to make a character with 75 life worth playing

The flames' target acquisition has a limited range, so 4 out of 5 may miss entirely if you're too far
