We really need to help and push ourselves to attain and seek His pleasure. Discipline is key,by disciplining ourselves to do which are pleasing to Allah(swt) and to abstain from any prohibitions or haram matters. If we always think death and akhira often,that Allah(swt) is watching over us,and the angels are recording.,we will be shameful not to commit haram doings,be it in private or public or not by doing the acts of worhship to Him.
