They look good. You can also get Neuspeed RS wheels that are made for rs3/ttrs and will clear front brakes.

Nice ! I did the same on my GT-R i mounted winter tires on oem wheels and got myself Rohana wheels. 285 front tires 325 rear :) Michelin cup sport 2 tires. Less road noise compared to Toyo r888r plus i can drive in the rain

Looks really good but I like slight concavity. I’m running 265’s squared with spacer & hub centric ring Michelin pilot sport cup 2’s & I have a little concavity. It’s so worth it to run wider rubber.

18" with 255/40 looks much sportier and beefier to me than 19" on 255/35. Did ride comfort change any, or did steering response/feel get any more vague with the taller sidewall? Probably going to get a set and also have mine powder coated in black for my 8J TT RS, would also down-size to 18". Edit: Sorry, you said 245/40. But my point still remains. A /40 sidewall is much better visually than a /35 to me.

Careful with car covers. Debris can get trapped inside them and when you take them off, it might leave scracthes or swirls.

Great job modding your car Oliver. Thinking of lowering my RS3 as well. Thinking of going with the MSS suspension kit. I'm a little hesitant, don't want to ruin the ride quality. Let me know what you think. Keep up the great work!

I’ve heard the MSS behaves very similar to H&R’s, just with the adjustability. So far I have no complains about the H&Rs. Pretty good cornering and ride quality. Firm but not too harsh!

Did you change your intake? I installed the CTS intake this week. It’s not carbon but god damn the sound. The car is now in stereo : hear both the intake in the front and exhaust in the back!

It shouldn’t. It’s designed to be flush with the RS3 so it should be spot on

You can go a bit more aggressive on the offset on the S3 since you don’t have to worry about the BBK in the front.

And any shop knows that for an AWD car, all 4 tires should be at the same level of wear. If not, the system is under constant stress because it detects a difference and tries to compensate for it. So yah, don’t do to this losers again.
