Sodium hydroxide is used as a pH adjuster and a gel activating agent with the ingredient CARBOMER. Carbomer has to be activated to form a gel so a pH adjuster like sodium hydroxide is typically used. It is not something to worry about, its better than using TEA or EDTA

Janae Mason I’m either threaded and a head wrap, or faux locs. In my head, I said I’d start wearing my hair out, but it’s a LOT of work lol Braid outs don’t fluff enough, and wash and gos scare me lol but your hair is ALWAYS bomb, so I’m going for it lol

Exactly some people can wash and go so easily, and im just how? My hair dont play with me like that. I recently started trying it. And even with this gel i get a curly fro. So thats how i usually wear it. I guess it’s because I have very stubborn and coarse hair that shrinks a lot. But I love my fros anyways.

the new one has more elongation and has a slightly thinner consistency with a slightly different hold. it hold my edges *DOWN* and it's definitely not as crunchy my hair be so soft. I like to mix both now n the definition goes crazy but still the soft feel and I gt lots of body n movement so I was excited

My hair in the front is super jealous of the coils in the back and refuses to cooperate with me

Natasha Hamilton I’ve had my locs for 8 years! It takes a lot of patience. It took me about a week. I used a spray bottle with water, a rat tail comb (metal tail) and I used conditioner to soften up the hair. I’d take some out in the morning, go to work, and take some out at night. I had about 120 locs. You can do it!

@@miurtouissi1093 she looks to have 4a/b/c. Most of us usually do and then there are other factors some 4b's for example have silky curls while others (like myself) have fluffy. Porosity is also another difference smh, curls can be complicated.

Sisss omg youre the first person I seen use Ebin edge control and I SWEAR by it. I haven’t used another edge control in years. It LAYS my edges to REST

Darling I think you need to try a small jar b4 finishing your old wetline to see if it can mix with your hair products. I bought the new wetline at publix for a $1.09. It was a smaller version and I tested it. Apparently it works well with 98% of my hair products. I tried it on my hair and it had great hold.

I'm fine to but find that wash and goes make my hair look fuller. Try Olaplex 3 to strengthen your fine strands. If you can, go to a salon to do step 1 and 2. If not just use step 3 and it will strengthen your strands by reconnecting the bonds. It is NOT a protein treatment to make it clear. Shout out to my fine hair ladies!

This was definitely me. Whatever products I mixed it with it flaked. I used it alone and it didn't flake but it was super crunchyyyyy. I banded my hair and it was still crunchy as hell

Love the bounce of your curls I never have bounce, just stiffness but maybe I need to add a blow dryer into my routine verses air drying

Me too. eco reacts with every damn product, It’s so annoying. atleast this goes with some of my other products so I can moisturize first.
