I’m still learning about VPNs in general. I wanted to know if it’s beneficial to have a VPN when connecting to public WiFi’s, for security purposes that is.

Hmm...I never tried that, but as a business owner, I'd prefer that you either pay for KZread premium or watch on another platform (i.e. Odyssee) and support those creators you enjoy.

@@AllThingsSecured thanks for the answer. I completely get your point but I already pay for so many subscriptions (various streaming services, Nord VPN, Spotify, password manager, some Patreons, ...) that I refuse to pay for more until it's not completely necessary.

@@AllThingsSecured ANY android based platform (N'vidia Shield, etc) that allows me to fully customize & sideload apps on. crAPPLE is "locked down". If I'm paying for a device, "I" should be ALLOWED to set it up, customize & use it as "I" see fit... NOT as "they" see fit. Screw them.

CRapple's devices are LOCKED DOWN with little customization (compared to android) & the inability to sideload DOESN'T allow the user to enjoy SOOO MUCH MORE available entertainment !!! *** & besides: > many "free" Android APPS are "paid" apps in CRapple's store. and > Most "paid" Android apps are MORE EXPENSIVE in CRapple's store. ... So, why pay more for the same app?!
you just linked your cellphone to apple tv and you think a vpn is privacy oriented.
