New VW T-ROC R-Line 2019 Review Interior Exterior.
The new T-Roc is dynamizing the compact SUV segment. Externally, the model boasts crisp styling and a progressive design combined with a wide range of uni and two tone color schemes. In the interior, the five-seater offers a cargo capacity of 445 liters (the largest figure in its class), a variety of color schemes and a largely digitalized, connected cockpit (the T-Roc is the first SUV in its class with digital instruments as an option). The powertrain options available for the front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive SUV include three gasoline engines (TSI) as well as two diesel (TDI).
The T-Roc is the new face in the crowd. A versatile vehicle - available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive (with all-wheel drive, including the 4MOTION Active Control driver experience switch, as standard) - which combines the dominance of an SUV with the agility of a sporty compact. A car that is just as much at home in the city as it is on long journeys.
On its exterior, crisp dimensions and a progressive design combine with eleven exterior colours, three roof colours and a total of 24 colour combinations. Inside, avant-garde design and a high level of functionality form an alliance. It is a five-seater with 445 litres of cargo capacity (the largest in its segment), seven different colour schemes and a cockpit that offers wide-ranging digitalisation and connectivity.
Who could resist that? 17-inch light-alloy wheels "Kulmbach" and the strikingly striking red brake calipers ensure a look that is not forgotten so quickly. The LED headlights and the dark red taillights in LED technology emphasize the confident appearance. The rear window and rear side windows are also darkened and fit so well into the sporty overall picture of the T-Roc Sport. The darkening absorbs a part of the sunlight and thus ensures a special lighting mood in the interior. This makes it easier to keep a cool head, even if the heart beats faster with so much driving fun. In the interior you will find the ambient lighting. This will immerse you in a pleasant atmosphere. Pleasantly, the standard heated multifunction leather steering wheel is in the hand. The sport comfort seats for the driver and front passenger offer noticeable lateral support and, thanks to the integrated, manually adjustable lumbar support, help you to sit comfortably even on longer journeys. As standard they are provided with fabric in the design "Gem", but on request you can also use seats in leather "Vienna".
As it turns out, one is seen. This is especially true for the special lighting design of the T-Roc. It is equipped as standard with a daytime running light, which can be seen prominently in the front bumper. Since the flashing function has been integrated into the daytime running lights, this is a special eye-catcher when you turn or change the lane. This makes the daytime running light one of the defining design elements of the T-Roc. In conjunction with the standard halogen headlights, it presents itself in a compact line design. Opt for the optional LED headlights, attracts attention in eye-catching ring optics.
The rear of the T-Roc also has a striking light signature thanks to the taillights in LED technology. The taillights of the T-Roc Sport Line are in striking dark red.
Expressive design meets progressive interior design: With the optional R-Line package you emphasize the sporty appearance of the modern crossovers. The R-Line logo in the radiator grille, the sporty design of the ventilation grille and the distinctive R-Line bumpers underline its dynamic design vocabulary. The T-Roc can also be seen from the side: with the design strip with R-Line logo and the door attachment parts in body color. At the latest, when the view of the rear view falls, it becomes clear which presence the fully painted bumper in the body color and the dark red LED taillights give it. Round off the sporty exterior with Sebring 5-twin-spoke gray metallic or 18-inch Suzuka alloy wheels in Dark Graphite with a high-sheen finish.
The interior of the T-Roc shows just how well sportsmanship can be reconciled with style: The multifunction sports steering wheel in leather with R-Line logo and decorative stitching is perfect for the center armrest, door inserts, seat back panels and headrest, also in leather look with decorative stitching, coordinated. The stylish gear lever cuff in leather with color-coordinated seams, the black headliner and the R-Line logo on the home screen complete the sporty frame. The door sills with R-Line lettering, the stainless steel pedals and the floor mats with decorative stitching in crystal gray create an expressive, inviting flair.
