New VW Crafter / MAN TGE headlight installation, plus LED bulb and colour options, 2017 - onwards.

Hopefully this video is useful in showing how to fit these headlights to your VW Crafter / Man TGE. These vehicles are the same and take the same headlights.
The lights are totally plug and play, no coding needed, no error codes / warning lights will appear on your dash display.
The headlights come pre-installed with halogen bulbs but you can upgrade to LED's if you wish. These are also totally plug and play with no error codes.

Left hand drive (LHD) Europe version of these lights will soon to available from transporterhq.eu
Please note these lights won't work if you already have factory LED headlights fitted.

Are there some adjustments for the high beam? Low beam is super bright with a really crisp cut off which is great but the high beam I’m getting is pretty feeble….. That with the THQ LEDs fitted throughout.
Hey, How easy is it to fit fog lighto the bumpers on the crafter and can you fit auto light switch. its a bit weird that these new vans don't come with auto light switches. Also no rain sensors fitted for wipers. I just bought a 2020 plate trend line with business pack. My other van a 64plate Renault master sport has everything on it. Looking for some good advice. Thanks

We don’t sorry. I believe they take a H4 bulb and I don’t know of any that don’t flicker or cause dash errors. They could also fail on MOT as i don’t believe that light has projectors.
Nice wheels, what size have you fitted and do you need spacers?

Hi! I installed your headlights this week and I'm very happy with them! I did however unplug all the connectors of the front bumper and now I have an airbag warning on the dash. is there any way to remove this warning or do I have to take it into the workshop? Thanks!

It may clear it's self as you drive? If not, it may require a re-set

Yo!! I have the v3 headlights for my t6 with the dipped light using an led bulb and main using a halogen bulb, can I use an led bulb on the main as well and is that a h7 bulb!??! Cheers 👊🏻

It’s just the camera and the lighting in the unit when we filmed them. They are exactly the same output 😊
So now we need those dynamic indicators for the mirrors, as well, please!

The side/position lamps turn off when indicators are on? So broken down at night with the hazards on the front of van is unlit for 50% of the time?

Yes the side light goes out when the indicator is on. This is the same on most modern factory fitted LED Drl’s and indicators. Because of the way the indicators pan, they are only off for a fraction on a second. If the side light was on, the brightness would take away from the caution of the flashing Amber.

Plug and play mean you just plug them in and they work. No need for adaptors or to do any coding etc/

What's the difference between these and the optional ones from VW when you order your van?

They are very different in design and function. Genuine LED’s are great though. These are an option for those that want something with a little more detailed and are cheaper.
Is there an option for the sequential indicators to be solid?

We have worked on another new design. I'm still not happy with the previous samples. They must be 100% right and affordable before we release them. I have a new sample early next year.

We try not to film all the parts that are self explanatory so it's not a long needlessly long video
