What is the sticker sealing the box. My box didn't have that nor plastic wrap. I was wondering if that is a vortex sticker sealing the box .does it peel off easily. I feel my scope was tampered with.

I had to cut it with a razor but it didn’t have plastic on it that I can remember

Slap it on the 7mm seems like a great fit and it would be quite the upgrade

I think with how everyone voted I’m going to put it on the 6.5 Creedmoor and put the covenant 5 on the 7mm rem mag

I just picked up the savage 110 precision and the same scope you're doing this video about . I was wondering what height scope rings you recommend. haven't gotten the gun yet but I'm trying to get ahead of the game . Thanks

What caliber are you going with and I got the high ones from arken because that’s all they had at the time but you can go with the medium ones as well

Just remember they have to be the 34mm rings for some reason I keep hearing people get the wrongs ones when they go to gun shops

I put this on a .308 savage axis 2 precision and it works flawless at 1000 yards.. no complaints worth listening to from me.. just all around worth the money..

Everything I’ve read and seen it is the exact same glass the only difference is the locking Tourette’s and the illumination

So I have a friend who absolutely loves his strike Eagle but to spend $200 more on something for a light and locking turrets doesn’t fit my budget the glass is the same and it’s amazing

Because it has less elevation adjustment I would say mount that sucker to the 6.5. I’m going to pull the strike Eagle off of my 6.5 and mount it to my 700 in .308 and mount the Venom to my 6.5. I just need to sell a kidney to buy 34mm rings.

Yeah I’m getting the arken optics 34mm rings I think they are $59 and I hear they are really good just can’t justify spending $150 on the vortex ones

It could go well on any one of them but I was thinking of the .338 Lapua because that is a rifle made for long range and you would get use out of the Rev Stop. I just got a Venom. On my Windham Weaponry R16SFST-308 I had a Diamondback Tactical and put the Venom. Next, I want to change the Diamondback Tactical I have on my Mossberg MVP Long Range 308 Thunder Ranch (w/ Kuiu Camo) to a Venom. I have a Crossfire II that came on my Mossberg Patriot .308 Win that I might change to take one of the Diamondbacks. And then put the Crossfire II on my Windham Weaponry M4A3, which I have been using with the carrying handle iron sights.

I have the diamondback tactical on my Mk12 mod 2 in 6mm arc absolutely love it. I have 2 crossfires one on my mossberg patriot 308 and my Mk12 mod1 in 224 Valkyrie. The 338 lapua already has the viper pa on it and the 7mm rem mag has the vortex vanquish. The only rifles that don’t have a vortex on it is the 6.5 and the 270 I think that’s why everyone wants it on the 6.5 Creedmoor

@@JustPewIt That is cool, too. 6.5 C is one of those popular rounds for long distance but I have seen a guy shoot a mule deer with one. However, it was less than 100 yards. I have seen the Gunwerks vid where that boy shoots a bull elk with a 7 mm Rem Mag at around 1,300 yards. But I could definitely see this on that rifle.

What I might do is move the cabelas covenant 5 to the 7mm rem mag and the vortex venom on the 6.5 Creedmoor for now if I can find the money later on get another one for the 338 lapua

@@JustPewIt Sounds like me, playing musical chairs with the scopes. I could see putting my Crossfire II on my M4A3 because I use the carrying handle iron sights and I think the second focal plane and the BDC could be good with that gun. I don't expect it to shoot much energy past 300 yards with the 55 grain. And I use it for feral hog hunting on public land where the longest shot is about 50 yards, maybe less because of heavy forests and undergrowth. It is very primeval in the WMA (Wildlife Management Area.)

Are you reading from a prompter? Lol.. you said "so is the windage" before you even had your hand on it. The zero stop is terrible. Two rotations is all you get.

No not a prompter I wrote all the notes down because that’s too much to memorize but I have heard that the rev isn’t that great because it takes away about 1/2 of the rotations

I check now the vortex and arken that he had costs exactly the same price here in south africa. R13999. But there is only one online store that sells the arken here. The vortex you can buy lots of popular gun stores here and have good support.
