The violent bike life is dying with the growth of technology. Motorcycle clubs are a bit childish though, paying dues and feeling obligated to ride isn't as fun as most think it would be. You're basically paying for friends, and giving them your free time. I like my weekends.

When I was 5 years old my Dad sent me to my Grandmas for the day. I was outside her house playing in the yard by myself. I saw around 10 guys on bikes pass by and I waived at them. They turned around and gave me some stickers and told me they were part of a bike club. I asked them if I could ride one of their bikes and they laughed and said “sure”. One of them picked me up and put me on the front of his bike and took me on a ride around the park. They were so kind to me and made me feel special. When my Dad came and picked me up I told him I made some knew friends. He got happy and asked who they were. I told him they were part of a bike club and what we did. He thought I was just making it up or telling an imaginary story. But then I asked him if he wanted one of the stickers they gave me. I will never forget the look on his face when he saw the Mongols logo.

This is so amazingly stupid that I have no words for this. I’m a motorcyclist (and have been for almost 40 years) and I can’t believe this s… still happens.

In my area growing up, the HA always kept a low profile and you only ever saw pictures of them in the paper after some major incident. They rode around doing their thing in a very authoritative but seamless and respectful manner. Ever since “ social media “ things have gotten more visibly showy.

It would be like charging everyone that belongs to the local chamber of commerce for a crime only a few took part in, it’s a club. Members act independently of the club without other club members knowledge. Plausible deniability! RICO is a losing proposition in most cases especially when the Clubs can afford the best attorneys out there.

Hope your "club" is paying taxes in full. Quit freeloading off the tax payers roadways. In any economic system there are "free riders" like yourself. Ones that utilize the systems others maintain, without adding back to the system. Nothing to be proud of really, you're essentially a group of people who cannot find a way to positively impact the world around you, likely because you lack the ambition, ability, or moral fortitude to maintain your community. If you think a criminal organization is cool, I think you're too poor to even pay for the roads you ride on.

Why would you do dirt out in the open, just to get caught. Now theses guys are looking at years in prison. That isn’t very smart……..

I'm all for them handling their business with other clubs... but you don't preplan an attack on a highway where innocents are. If you want to handle your business on your own then do it privately.

The whole biker scene ain’t what it used to be, the newer generation of youngsters aren’t into harley’s, getting involved, and all that stuff. With the internet and tv, most youngsters see the drama that comes along with it and stay away from it. Not to mention there’s actually good biker dudes out there that advise youngsters NOT to join a biker gang.

I never understood why people join outlaw bike clubs as a full grown adult. I assume most never been in trouble growing up because they would’ve already been in a gang as early as 12-18 years old, so why start now?

She'll be fine. Going after a civilian witness, especially a woman with kids would be suicide for them. Would create such a public backlash and give the ATF, FBI and every other law enforcement agency carte blanche to put every outlaw mc down for good. The Feds are probably hoping they're dumb enough to do that.
