Once upon a time people were fine with wagon wheels, and today we have no-flat tires based on that very same technology. We often don't know how bad we had it, until we have it great. Give FREE a try and get a feel for the wheel...then imagine not having to look at a default Weather panel again, or finding your friends anywhere, anytime...

@@Parallel42 oh I remember very well what fs95 was like. I dont quite understand the flat tires remark though. Like I said, others might find this useful but it's not for me. I leave live weather on and never touch it, as for friends, they usually just come over and watch the lions game with me lol. Thanks anyway .

This is a flight simulator that we have to use computers and screens to interface with. This tool makes that interfacing easier. You all are morons if you can't understand that concept. 👌

Great videos on Flow; I have purchased PRO hoping for ability to import scripts as I do not know how to do that. I am wondering about the weather feature: can you set up your own weather through flow other than premade options? For instance setting CAT 1, 2 or 3 minimums at appropriate airports? Thanks again for your time and effort in producing informative video.

Very informative video as usual perhaps if if parallel 42 have managed to get it to work in vr they could do the same for skypark which I bought before I had vr and really enjoyed it but as I now fly in vr it doesn’t work

how do get rid off the see through browser with the wheel in the center as it opens the flow?

I think the interface is clean and fresh, but I wish Flow had more novel and compelling widgets. Parking brake, Gear, Flaps, AP, Doors, Lights, etc. - I either have control/key bindings or I use the in-cockpit switches for realism. I rarely have to add fuel while flying and never have to recharge my battery. I have key bindings (on my Stream Deck) for all camera views. The time/weather UI is very nice, but I never change them while flying. The Pro version has HUDs and scripting - NICE. But the rest of the features are tailored to Twitch streamers. Even Otto is just a slimmed down Google page.

You should have started the video with the feature demonstrated at 17:10ish. Removal of the annoying handlebar.

If pause is in the MSFS menu, wouldn’t it be available in the flow menu?

Is there a way to navigate through and around the wheels without using the mouse?

PLEASE HELP... Ive downloaded the FREE version AND the PRO version and cannot figure out how to load and launch. Ive extracted files etc, but there are not exe files, and I have no launch upon download. Ive restarted computer, relaunced msfs, and the wheel never shows up anywhere. I went into content manager, within msfs, and when I selected flow pro it does not bring up an "install" bar. I assume msfs cannot recognize it.

Is there landing rate display as well?

If I was to buy the essentials version, can you upgrade to pro at a later date? Thanks mate for the informative video

no VR support yet

As I have read elsewhere, this sounds like a solution in search of a problem. I don’t want something else cluttering up my screen. If I could add it to my 2nd monitor it would be better, but still it’s just another way to do things that I can do with my yoke, keyboard, or voice controls. Meh. Not terrible by any means but just not awesome either.

Still thinking about this 42 flow pro....Is it really that much better than the default.....I really enjoy how you explain this program....Thank you....

Branding suggestion. Replace the "Home" wheel name with "Overkill". The free version limits default MSFS options to what you have already turned on! No idea if there is a pricing option to buy the Flow Essentials now and upgrade to the Flow Pro version at a later date for $10. Flow Pro version would be more attractive if beyond scripting there was the option to create a widget that was just a keyboard shortcut. Would be nice to change the name of the aircraft for an aircraft-specific wheel if flying non-default MSFS aircraft.

Correct, the free version is indeed limited and indeed free. It allows you to get a feel...for the wheel. With regards to upgrading, thanks to our partnership with Orbx, we've arranged an easy upgrade path from essentials to PRO. PS: You can name the wheels whatever you want.

When I loaded the TBM the dedicated wheel was labeled TBM9 which is the correct aircraft type, but when I loaded the SF50 Vision Jet it was labeled just "Jet". So where does it look up the aircraft type? Can I edit a text/XML file? Could you add to your wishlist having the PRO version create a button based on keyboard shortcuts? Text Label, icon, and shortcut. I think it would make PRO more attractive to non-scripters. Whoever designed the wheel should take a look at the cameras page.

@@Parallel42 I bought the PRO version. The Manager says "All Aircraft", "Vision Jet Jet" and "Daher TBM". I think you need to change "Vision Jet Jet" to "Cirrus Vision Jet".

Flow is a menu, as such it works IN SIM. Shorter answer. NO unless the sim is on that screen too.

I do have issues with skypark by p42. With over 120k in the skypark bank the addon flakes out after it being real cool in the beginning

I find it very disappointing that the sim's menu bar still features on screen. This is a real annoyance when making videos of flights and you don't want that thing intruding - it breaks the ambience. If the Flow app removed this when Flow was opened then I would buy it in a flash - but until then, no.

The menu only displays if you mouse way up to the top

When an independant plugin dev does a way better job than the og devs themselves... If MSFS interface is so horrible, it's to make it work on both PC & Xbox. Problem: that's making the UI for PC users (the real simmers let's be honest) an mediocre experience... FLOW also looks way prettier than this dated monochromatic Windows 8 eyesore theme.

It's a nice app, but the Orbx Central app really stinks. That's all I need is another app running in the background.

Orbx central doesn't sit there running in the background, and FYI, apps like this are exactly what enables developers like us to keep your software up to date. UP TO DATE = STABLE SIM. =)

I Think this program made only for lazy pilots, who don't want to learn how to fly like real pilots and how it's doing all in real life. Do not like it. And for me nothing new there in this program. What for I should pay then?
