It took me awhile to realize why foundations did not look as flawless on me as a lot of YT reviewers-now I only watch certain people because they show what the foundation really looks like and have saved me a fortune in buying foundations! I appreciate looking at the "real deal" no matter what it looks like. The reason I watch is for honest reviews!

It’s really funny about foundation reviews that yield useful information for me. Of course, reviews that show closeups and wear time views as well as views in different kinds of light are nice. But, for some reason it turns out that some people, regardless of age (and I’m pretty old), just seem to do well with foundations that also work for me. Consistently. I know that foundations that are great on combo-oily skin don’t work for on my dry dry skin. I like this really shiny look you got today. My skin absorbs ALL shine on its own. It would not stay like that for an hour. I like your perspective on foundations. It’s unique and helpful!

I have the Shiseido Synchro Skin Glow foundation which I really like. I’d like to try the radiant lift and UD. I like a glowy, hydrating foundation and the UD looked thicker. I’m 56 with very dry skin. Thanks so much for the video. 💕Kim

I love to use a creamy shadow/blush duo. Then set it, bounce in and the sponge dry’s up enough to leave dewy. Chanel healthy glow sheer stick in # 23 would be beautiful on you. Also you can tiny eyelids and go. I’m also hooded 😉 and only like a small tiny to bring out the color. New subscriber

I love this sweater! Hope we get a few cool days to wear it more - but sweater sales are on for next year at least!

I was excited about this foundation as I’ve heard good things and it’s not crazy expensive. But I wear a mask all day at work so I think I’d maybe look like a hot mess at the end of the day. Thank you for another helpful review!

Like the glow factor of the foundation, but it definitely looks like it is just sitting on top of the skin - shame is rubs off so easily. On another note, that Rae Morris product looks terrific, had no idea it existed. Thanks for your thorough reviews, always very appreciated. 🌷🌷

I love this Rae Morris product and did a video on it in the last few months. I know I can count on it not imparting any color at all. it's kinda genius!

I am mixing shade 30 and 41 (40 was a bit too warm). I found once it is lightly powdered, it gave a radiance that brought me many compliments! I had no issues with adherence! It wore very well! I’m 58 and have combo skin, oily in T-zone.

Hi from England - I think you're right and there is zero indication of the colour on the Urban Decay website so I came to youtube to see what colour other women bought. I have gone for shade 30 and pray it will be ok.

Thanks for the thorough review. I have slightly lighter skin than you and this looks like it would be a good match. I'm currently using the Smashbox Halo Glow in fair-light but it's a big too light but the next shade up looks on the orange side. Its sometimes hard to find good neutral shades. J find they're often too yellow or orange on me.

Yes - undertone is everything and true neutrals are hard to find. This might work for you!

I love foundation reviews thank you. Have you tried Findation? I have found over time that their color recommendations are very good. The only challenge is that you probably need 2-3 foundations that are a good match for you to input into the tool. I have gone against the tool and regretted it and so I now go with their result when purchasing. My latest is Ko Gen Do moisture in shade 113 and I may have finally found my foundation dream.

Depends on the sunscreen, I suppose. I always wear ss, but it's rare a foundation doesn't last on me (I'm lucky, I suppose).

I use organic marula oil prior to foundation application..great stuff!

I personally would love to see the phone test with all your foundations. I so dislike smearing foundation on my phone. Maybe that is a new video idea😁. I’m dry so using very much of any powder can also be an issue. Also would love to know your top picks by category for the upcoming Sephora sale and in your opinion are certain items worth the price point for those of us without large makeup and skincare collections. Example, I would love to try a Natasha Denona blush but unsure due to price. Just a few thoughts. Sending good health right back to you 💖💞💖

I really appreciate your honesty! I was interested in this until I saw how easily it transferred. Ugh, I very much dislike foundation on my cell phone. This was my first time viewing your channel... Curious to see if you ever tried Estee Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup. That has to be my favorite! Long wearing and such natural looking, skin-like coverage.

Can you do a light foundation sheer foundation list top 3? Thanks this was so beautiful on you. I slowly went down hill. It’s a pass and it was very helpful. Your the best at foundation reviews. Sadly, EL does not make shades that work on my skintone! I've tried, I've swatched and I've cried (JK).

I have this foundation and I like it. I don't love it, but it's ok. It doesn't stay dewey on me, which I wish it did. I find it wears nice, but can look patchy at times. I've only applied with my hands, but I should play around with brush vs. beauty blender. Have you tried the Saie Slip Tint Foundation (I think that is the name)? It has become my new favorite everyday foundation.

I haven't tried that because the word "tint." I can have a lot of redness and prefer a medium coverage.

This video was shot some time ago - but it's safe to take a look at my am skincare routine to get an idea and I always finish with sunscreen which is generally pretty shiney!

Would you say the wear time is better on the shiseido radiant foundation compared to this? I’m all about wear time. Things can look great when I initially apply then after a couple of hours at work I look in the washroom mirror and am deeply disappointed! Looks lovely on you, but I’m not sure I’d be comfortable with that much shine on my dial. I’d have to powder quite a lot ... and I don’t think that would work on this. Great review!

I personally rarely have issues with longevity - I'm not sure why, something to do with my skin type and my skincare. So, I didn't notice anything like patchiness, breakdown down, etc. But keep in mind, it's very rare that I experience these issues.

@@TheHoodedLid lucky you! It’s the Bain of my foundation life. I find working in air conditioning doesn’t help at all for me. It lasts better if I’m not.

I’m all about new formulas BUT I wish companies would stop discontinuing HOLY GRAIL products, like the original Naked Skin weightless - never sat in my creases, didn’t accentuate dry patches, didn’t make me oily, could be applied with anything, stayed all day and looked like SKIN. Soooooo bummed - every foundation review I can’t help thinking about, it was that good. On the Ulta site people are comparing this to One and Done and are missing that one too - same with optical illusion primer. What would it take to get them to bring it back, or is it because they’re afraid people won’t buy it because it’s not vegan? And I could use any primer, even an oily one. What do you use to prep your skin? I still have Bareminerals Complexion Rescue, Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder, MAC water weight, MAC Face and Body (surprisingly LOVE), Bobbi Brown serum foundations (different colors - I wonder if they reformulated because it seems more moussey than I remember and I like more liquid), so basically I don’t need anything but this will be half off for Ulta 21 days and I justify trying everything if it’s half off!

I don't use primer, to answer your question - my skincare/suncreen work great before make up. Thick may be a bit thicker than products you're used to based on your list. And is can transfer as well.

The instructions say to apply it with your hands. Probably because the warmth of your hands melts it into your skin.

Hi thank you 4all ur reviews. QUESTION: Will you consider doing a review after waiting for all ur moisturizer/ or primer on ur face to sink in ? So that we can get a better idea of how a foundation will look without all the intensity of ur highly moisturized glowy skin. I am a mature skinned very dry skin gal who also, like ur self really packs on the moisture/ and hydration both...But..I really,really wait for my products to sink in and it makes a huge difference in both the finish and wear time...I ❤ ur shares and how soothing ur voice is, I hope u received this request well as I truly adore you, yet I just would like to see a different start approach 💖

I too found that today you were extra extra shiny before you put this foundation on - can you do another try on with this one? I would be interested in seeing it applied with your fingers as you normally apply your foundation that way (I do as well).

When you have your whole makeup look on with it I think it's good. But, I think it would really emphasize my pores, so I'll pass on this one.
