missions* you would need to launch rockets to the moon or other planets to make bases. if you have rovers that find water, they can make an ocean that will take 10 irl days, then that ocean will generate grass you can do satellite or space station missions too, saving missions too. docking to other satellites, space stations, or even bringing supplies,food or water to save others its similair to the space station thing above me im guessing it will be like this

It does look relly neat, and I am really impressed how far Stormworks takes things here to expand on what people have added in the past to pretend in relation to many things.

It would be nice to see a 30min or maybe longer video on the space update when it comes out. Maybe like a journey to space and to the moon.

I would love to see OB somehow mess up a space launch and everyone freaking out!

I spent something like 3 months working on that, tirelessly scouring the depths of the internet for every photo and document I could find to make that thing as historically accurate as humanly possible. Behind it is my Tektite underwater laboratory recreation, a bit less historical, I want to remake it at some point.

Anyone remember the old days when camodo first launched a space shuttle in stormworks

Leave OB in space as you and Spy fly back to Earth.

You know what this will introduce, right? Cosmic Krakens, Galactic Megaladons, and Interstellar Tsunamis. Because even if it's in the ocean of space, it's still an ocean and you can't be safe from the dangers of the ocean. But this is also going to inspire a couple things that are guaranteed to hit the workshop. Rovers, ICBMs, and "Rods from God" satellites. Like those are going to be a thing. Enabling low earth orbit for ICBM's is going to encourage such builds, being able to take warheads up into space and then have them reenter wherever you target is pretty much the Project Thor (aka Rods from God) satellite, and everyone will want rocker bogies for rovers, which is going to mean solar's gonna get a rework because hooking up every single 1x1 cell is a pain in the butt.

Hey Camodo do you think both the Desert planet and the Ice planet going to be in the Space DLC? Also can you imagine going into space with Halo ships and the Halo ships are fighting that space ship you just show us? Also can you imagine going in one of those Halo ships escape pods and dropping down to the planet. Now that would be cool.

When I saw other space DLC videos I thought they were just concepts like in the past! I can't believe they're actually adding it!

I fear the bugs, I play Space Engineers where Clang also reigns. Storm works already having a laundry list of bugs, including Clang, and optimizations for multiplayer, now more or less adding Space Engineers into it. However it’s more refined engineering wise then Space Engineers, ironically, as there are more details into structures. Small blocks like in storm works isn’t usually used to make ships in Space Engineers (usually strike craft), unless you’ve a lot of patience, what one’s are, are incredible ships, so I can’t wait to see what “realistic” designs end up in workshop with Stormworks. I’m super excited for the blend of my favorite crafting games!

at 1:42 the rocket isn't a space shuttle it's a Space Launch System (SLS) that NASA is using for the Artemis missions

It would be cool using an SR-71 or something and just going really high in the atmosphere.

The devs can only add the moon due to the limitations of the game.
