Ultras Malaya is the creme de la creme of supporter groups when it comes to the national team. Their thought processes, organisation and implementation for supporter culture practices have been revolutionary and system changing in Malaysia and has inspired many over the world.
It has always been my dream to watch them live and document them and I had no better chance than the 3 consecutive games of the Malaysian National Team in November 2019 - Tajikistan (friendly), Thailand(WCQ), Indonesia (WCQ). Here's the first part, stay tuned because it just gets crazier!
"ON THE DAY" is a series which documents the pre-match, in-match and post-match atmosphere on the very day of the game, with minimum words or no interviews or with minimal background score- as raw as it can get.
