I don’t think Dema is colorful now. I think everything portrayed is whats being shown on the TV to the inhabitants of Dema. Colorful propaganda for a otherwise colorless world.

Dude they just came out with a music video...

My immediate thought when seeing the blue and pink is they look like baby colours. I'd imagine the effect of Tyler having his first baby and becoming a father will definitely have an impact on the album even if not intentionally.

i saw a theory about the colours being linked to tritanopia, which is a condition where you can only really see pink blue and white (the album cover) and therefore you can’t see yellow, so it’s like the bishops perspective!!

@@gez333 it's an interesting idea, especially since they can't see yellow but they also can't see blue (it shows up as greenish). Yellow & green look purple -blue. Idk. I feel like there's something off but still something there to your theory.

I think that Scaled and Icy will be an EP, but it won't quite sound like TØP. DEMA is definitely behind this, so I believe that lyrically, instead of encouraging people to stay strong and live on, I believe that this record will encourage people to give in to depression, anxiety, vices, etc. (Blurryface is speaking through two prominent figures of the Banditos, which shows that if Blurryface can get to Tyler and Josh, he can get to anyone). There will certainly be subliminal messages where a non-brainwashed TØP try to get their usual lyrics out, before quickly being shut out by the DEMA-influenced lyrics. This all will lead to a full-length LP where Tyler and Josh recount their experiences brainwashed by DEMA, how they escaped, and informing others how than can escape DEMA.

THIS what I think...TYLER AND JOSH/TØP/CLANCY ARE BRAINWASHED. As you can see at then end of Levitate Tyler is getting pulled by Nico.MAYBE later on Josh/Banitos went to go save Tyler,but Josh got captured? Am not sure about that yet...but anyways when TØP disappears for a long time they suddenly come back with a bright and cheerful theme...Seems odd to me.Referring back to WE DONT’T BELIEVE WHAT’S ON TV on the covers Josh and Tyler are in the TVS..So what I think is Going down is that TØP came back brainwashed and Dema is now using them and the bright colors to draw people in on MAY 21 for the live stream but then during the live stream it will like start to break down and all of a sudden it will be like creepy vibe and codes and stuff.

I keep seeing people use we don’t believe what’s on TV as a sort of predictive clue we were left with. I don’t think it has anything to do with SAI. But I do agree that this isn’t really TOP anymore. It’s a new brainwashed era we will endure. The |-/ logo is gone, so we are in Demas hands now. For now

My gf watched this with me who wasn’t watching updates for the trench era and said this video makes sense and seems interesting. She asked who dema was etc and I struggled to remember tbh couldn’t remember if it’s depression etc or what but the video reminded me. I feel like watching all the old videos with all the trench clues 😂

I'm not sure if this has to do with anything, but Pink is desaturated Red, which is the color they used to signify them being controlled by Dema.

I think we will have 18 songs on the album. There are 3 cassettes. 6 songs each, so that’s 18. And one of the cassettes has the ø’s. So maybe 2 cassettes will be Tyler and Josh not being controlled and the remaing one will be them being controlled. Or the other way around

I never realized how much actually went into TOP’s music. This is just insane

DEAR CLIQUE: I believe the boys are showing us the music industry within this video and how corrupt and fake everything is, "Shed your modesty" for the sake of likeability. "Leave your skin on the floor" which translates to, lose who you are to become a scaled and icy "dragon" (soulless likeable artist). If you notice at the beginning of the video :04 you hear Clancy yell "Run Away", but Tyler mishears it as "Shy Away" and continues on with the cliche TV Pop performance; ie neon lights, minimalistic stage, predictable close-up camera angles. Blurryface/Bishops/Music Industry is telling Tyler to not run away from them (Jumpsuit video) for they know what's best for his happiness and well-being. Tyler's soul, Clancy (space buns), is trying to help guide Tyler through the upside-down world of the industry where values and morals are foreign subjects. The goofy hairstyle of Clancy (space buns) is showing how you will be perceived as a fool within the industry if you have a Faith or morals of any kind; also we know now that Rosie is forever a part of Tyler's heart and soul so Clancy will display her infamous space buns, this is just a speculation-haha The infrastructure of blocks represents how glamourous and powerful the industry comes off as being with dragons (soulless artists) flying above, but they can be destroyed by listening to your heart and soul and being your authentic self without shedding who you are as an individual. I listened to a radio interview with Tyler. He was talking about how learning the electric guitar really inspired him for this record. And if I recall correctly, he spoke on how it was the bass guitar for Trench and the piano and soundbox for Blurryface. So now I’m excited to hear what kind of record he writes when he learns to play the banjo.

This video is really well explained! and yes, everyone thinks that we´re crazy bc we are talking and going all crazy about some fictional characters and places made up by an artist but its cool, i love this clique. Couldn't be more proud of being part of this family! PSDT: you forgot to mention that everything has been happening around the same time (3pm east) every Wednesday (desaturation day, single release, the bar reaching 100%, etc.), although the bar started on Friday.

I feel like the bright colors may be a call back to the concept of neon light/color in trench. My understanding is that Dema makes neon light to lure as a false hope (counterfeit light that claims to help against darkness of life but doesn't). If Dema is using Tyler and Josh as propaganda or a lure, it would make sense for there to be such bright colors (although these seem more pastel than neon).

This is insane. I saw them before Vessels came out and thought they were really awesome and fell in love with their music. Never would I have ever thought that they would have put this amazing universe together and have this deep of lore AND make great music.

My birthday is on July 11th too! I was so happy when they released Jumpsuit that day after a year of hiatus ^^

It would be soooo incredible if they really decided to make something like "Truman show" as you mentioned. Idk just liked that idea so much and already had some visual in my head of how it all could be embodied in a music video. But i don't think it'll happen in the middle of a song. Would be so much of an emotional rollercoaster though. I've learned not to expect anything from the artist, then your expectations will not be crushed, but it's so fun to fantasize :)
