I dont understand why some people react so negative. Its nicely done and well explained. Its explained how you do it with not much tools. It takes time this way? YES. Does it cost much to do it this way? NO. conclusion: its nicely done!

I like how you do these with more simple tools. I fit up handrailing for school, churches, businesses, etc and while we’re definitely not the most up to date shop we have equipment that makes me grateful I’m not having to do all that process. I simply calculate length, cut to length, cope and clean, then fit up

Two words. Hole saw. Cut the ends to length with the hole saw in a drill press. No need to cut a hole in the other piece. 100 times faster.

Well he could just drop the pieces into the local machine shop. That would be easier still. But then, this video is not about easy, it's about the geometry of the join and how to do it with a hand grinder.

Paper and a marker are nearly free....and don't require any extra equipment to use besides your brain.

@@davidnraychel1508 if you can afford the welder you can afford a cheap hole saw. Time is money and this while slick takes way too much time and leaves a terrible fit up.

there are so much easier methods to do this to be fair, but if there are "home diy ppl" who dont know how to this then i guess this is good for them. beacuse if i tried to do this in the field the other welders would laugh their ass of while riddiculing me.

Я завтра 500 в 500 буду врезать, таким же способом, и причем под просвет, нефтянка. На глаз, наобум делать такую работу, себе во вред. Если есть метод попроще, поделитесь.

Если стык идёт под просвет рентгеном, отверстие делается по внутреннему диаметру стыкуемой трубы.
