Great job Lakeisha, as always so helpful. You have lots of patience. I used this idea behind my boxwood backdrop (I’m in uk) it’s called WATERPROOF GROUND SHEET COVER 9x6ft CAMPING TARPAULIN GREEN HEAVY DUTY 140GRPM in dark green. I bought it off EBay £7.99. It’s got eyelet openings at the top. Like a pair of curtains. I attach my backdrop to my pole with zip ties. Then I go around the back and attach backdrop clips/clamps through the eyelets and onto my pole. It’s like a curtain behind it. Its not heavy to carry around, works a treat blocking out the light 👌🏻

FANTASTIC IDEA!!!!!!! I use a plastic black or white tablecloth behind my gold fringe or silver fringe curtains when I complete a backdrop. It really helps & seems to give it more depth. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

I’m definitely going to try this. I don’t particularly like the boxwood panels that I purchased from Efavormart, but hopefully doing this will make it more seamless looking.

Oh I did this too. I bought large black felt from Walmart and attached it to the back. It wasn’t nearly as intricate as you have done but same idea.

The heavy duty velcro works fine I use it all the time.. i get mine from Wal-Mart... you don't have to use it on all sides. Just the entire top and spaces on the side and bottom.. It saves time and material..😊 btw I absolutely love your work.. inspiring me to work on balloon garlands more.. thought the zip ties could have worked as well.. where ever u put a zip ties add a piece of heavy duty tape so hole does not get bigger.

i used to have that too 9m the back of my greenwall. but i temoved it because it made it extra heavy. so now i just use a black plastic trashbin bags on the back. it works fine.

Pinatas en Tutus Party Events I bought black table covers from DT thinking I can zip tie those to the back. Do you think they are too thin? Haven’t done it yet.

My idea would have been trying to sew it all the way around, this is so much easier!!

Yes! That exactly what I do

I'm looking at this again... and you did good but, since you use balloons all the time and even if you don't then, you could just do it the EGGGG-ZACK SAME WAY but, don't take it up to the top.... LEAVE ABOUT AN INCH FROM THE TOP OF THE BOXWOOD HEDGE and then you can use this backdrop the same way you normally do.... That's what I'm gonna do for mine... THANX for the TIP :)

Ok so you’re going to keep your hedge like this from here on out since you’ve glued it down? You’ll just roll it up and store it? How is this working. Do you have more hedgewood if you need a smaller piece? I have so many questions🤯😆😆 the other question I have is, I have 8ftx10ft stands. How did you get the stand hooks behind the actual hedge? I’m doing something wrong because there’s always space on the edges and I don’t want that.

Yes! I have two different backdrops. I roll them up like a rug and store them That way. I don’t take them apart over and over. My stand is adjustable I just push it in as far as I need it to go. Hope that helps!!
