NEW TRAILS & ROCK GARDEN on the SOUTH LOOP AT TAHUYA! | JEEPS AND TOYOTA'S!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Jeeps and Toyotas explored new trails and the Rock Garden on the South Loop!
** Watch me drive the South Loop on Opening Weekend: • THE (NEW) SOUTH LOOP A...
** Watch "CLOSE CALLS & BODY DAMAGE AT ELBE" here: • CLOSE CALLS & BODY DAM...
We wanted to meet in-person some people we only knew on social media. So, I thought that'd be a great excuse to hit the South Loop again! We ran some of the side trails that we hadn't explored before, and 2 of us hit the Rock Garden!
- And did the Grey Goat get a little body damage?
- And who broke on the rock garden!??
Overall, it was a fun day on the trail! Always is, right?!! Thanks for watching!

Yall really do the best Trails! I just love the fact that yall go out with groups with vehicles that are built mild to wild! Everybody has fun and everybody helps! But OH NO, Joe has officially been watching to many Death Charger videos and has now started shoving those tires into the fenders of the GOAT! Be careful! This will lead you down a dark path of no longer caring about the rest of the body and Joe will start shouting "Watch this" , "I can do that, that looks easy", "When in doubt , Throttle Out", and the most feared phrase .......... "Hold My Beer" !! It's a slippery slope!! Once again great video Yall!! The Grey Goat is kicking butt as always!

We’ve always been so careful with the Goat. But that’s twice now that we’ve dinged it. Should have trimmed those fenders earlier- we knew we needed to so shame on us 😏 Joe must be taking notes from DC!! Not good!! We can’t wheel it if we’re fixing it 😂 Another weak link is our rear bumper. Landing on one hard rock the wrong way could really mess up our tailgate. So at least we’re remedying that now 👍 Thank you for always cheering us on and commenting!!! ❤️🐞❤️

If you haven't seen them, Nealey Tire Repair company sells legit repair kits for self repair. I've used them several times in the backcountry without even taking the tire off of my 4Runner. It works for any repairs up to about 3/8" and I haven't ever had one leak after-the-fact either.

You guys need to get some long arms on the XJ, like I built for my rig DARTHWOBBLE. Makes a day and night difference. My rig got pretty beat up going out there back to back, had to build some new rear spring perches and bump stops. I don't have instagram, but maybe I'll see your group out there next time.

Totally agree. We are in the process of redoing all of our suspension. Going with Clayton long arms. Once we get back from EJS it’s getting torn down and let the fun begin!

@@dieseldirt3994so my setup is more or less a copy of the Clayton design. I bought their 3link crossmember, frame stiffeners, and rear 4link brackets. It was cheaper than making them. I have a dealer act with Barnes, so I bought long threaded 1 1/4 ballistic joints with 5/8 bolts rather than 9/16 for added beef. The thing about the Clayton setup is they use the smaller joints with short threads, so you only get a little bit of adjustment. I pushed my front and rear axles out about 3 inches each, the Clayton setup won't allow for that. Their out of the box set up only allows you to put the axle basically where it is from the factory. Not saying anything bad about Clayton but their solution is sort of an out of the box ready to go. That doesn't really allow for any customization. The problem that goes along with that is once you get into that 6 to 10 inch lift range. The spring buckets don't line up with the spring purchase anymore and you end up with a curved spring. This is the reason for pushing the axle forward. Also for the price of the arms it's cheaper to buy the bigger beefier barns ballistic joints, and the tube from Tacoma welding supply and just make them yourself saves you about 50%. The other benefit is that you don't have to pay $140 in shipping. I have a playlist here in KZread that shows all the trials and tribulations I went through building my setup if you're interested in taking a gander at that. I'm not on IG, but you can get ahold of me on FB @STARCENTERSEABECK
