Hello, my father and I watched your video, and thanks to your review of the DeWalt pressure washer, we decided to order it for ourselves. After using it to wash the car, we were thrilled.

Thank you very much for your time to watch. I hope it will have my English. It’s not so good. I try my best, when I ordered this one believe me it was only one place you could buy and like I say I live in and it takes time to get things from US to Europe about months

The DeWalt 54V is the exact same as 60V; the difference is the EU laws keep DeWalt honest wherein in the US they’re allowed the 60V “marketing”. The nominal pack voltage is actually 54V

Fyi, it's available in Canada. Just picked it up yesterday at home depot. I agree the trigger is a bit annoying, but not horrible. My other issue is it won't sit on the ground on the battery compartment. So it has to lay on its side. But otherwise pretty decent in my limited use. Only time will tell. But I love not having an electrical cord. Way more convenient than my corded one for 95% of my use cases.

Maybe there is a way to remove or modify the saftey switch part on the trigger ...or just use some electrical tape wrapped around it to hold the lock back

@@faronf2006 definitely. It's super easy to do that. It's a very minor issue frankly.

I am also in Canada and thinking about getting it. Do you have any previous experience with the 20V model? The guy keeps saying it's very big. I wonder if it's bigger than the 20V version. Also, looks like the wand attachment is different. Have you looked into adapters to fit a shorter one? It would be much less cumbersome to wash cars... Cheers.

  • @OnlineLuc

@@BakouMOH No experience with the 550. I was considering buying it when I realized the 1000 was about to be released. So I decided to wait. Is it heavy? Yes ish.... is it a problem to use? No in my opinion. It's not a one hand tool. I did look into shorter adapters when researching the 550. Tthere's one on Amazon apparently compatible with the 550 so surely compatible with the 1000. I probably can't share links, but search for "PWACCS Pressure Washer Gun Adapter Kit". It's a short, plastic wand with various angles. I also own a large 2000 psi corded one. It's definitely not as powerful, but the reality is that even if it's heavier than what people would prefer, it's still way more convenient in my opinion than lugging that large 2000 one each time. For my use cases, I'm going to be going to this one 95% of the time.

When I ordered this one, it was available only from one website and this one was last one when I asked can I order one more they see me you cannot order this one right now just one when I say this one is big. This is very big, but it’s very comfortable, the trigger make me crazy. Otherwise I love this tool

Another thing inwanted to share is even though the soap suds bottle on this 1000 psi power washer is a slight improvement over the 20 volt power washer ...i think I will eventually purchase a proper foamer bottle for my 60 volt power washer .

I bought 550 PSI version of this washer. I cannot agree more about the weight. It is impossible to use one hand and I was trying to use it with the lightest batteries. Adding 1 kg more of flexvolt makes it even worse. I think DeWalt is going the wrong direction. It still lacks power for some real job, but already heavy enough to be uncomfortable.

@DIY.Invented I just ordered this exact 60v power washer here in 🇨🇦 . At first I was going to purchase the Dewalt 20v 550 psi power washer but after watching many reviews on the 20v model ...I figured I would get the better built / 2x more powerful 60v model like yours . Only downside is the extra weight with the 60v /:54v flex bolt batteries . But I like that the wand is metal rather than plastic , plus it can be shortened or lengthened with the proper extensions / reducers . Also I bet there is an aftermarket metal wand somewhere online that has a bent 90⁰ nozzel end for getting into tight spots such as under a low vehicle . I own a Honda gas powered pressure washer which I love but since I am not always around a water supply with its own pressure , I love the bucket idea or even a larger holding tank behind an atv / quad would be a great way to make this cordless power washer even more mobile / used on places such as farms / construction sites etc .

@DIY.Invented it should work or even a mini zip-tie would hold up longer . Last option just so carefully remove the saftey lock mechanism by carefully warming the trigger with a hair dryer first . My Dewalt DCPW1000P1 kit with 6ah charger & 9ah Flex bolt battery is on Pre-order here in Canada 🇨🇦 ...so hopefully not much longer of a wait time seeing this model is already out in the UK . Do you know the brand of your aftermarket turbo nozzel ? How do you find the run time on your 54 volt battery with this power washer ? I think i would have liked Dewalt to have made this power washer battery separate from the rest of the gun making it lighter & easier to get into tighter areas. Perhaps having a side belt or back mounted battery pack would have been the way to make the overall size & weight of the gun smaller & lighter
