I bought this today. I definitely get a coffee note in the first few minutes. Faint, but there. I love this perfume, it’s really dark and mysterious.

I just picked this up. I used to own the original Cafe Rose and I am very happy with the reformulation. It lasts forever on my skin. I think you are correct about men wearing it. Even though I love it, I’m going to let my best guy friend try it. You are right about the final stages. I wore it to bed last night and when I woke up, it was a tiny bit sweeter. I know it may seem blasphemous but I layered it with Noir de Noir and it was a great combo

I was actually wanted Tom Ford Rose Prick and/or Delina La Rosee but ended up getting this one instead because of the price point.🙈 only downside for me is the persistence but I was not ready to spend more money on a perfume right now 😅 maybe next time. I tried a scent from Woods Collection (Dusk), which is claimed to be a clone of PDM Layton. I tried Dusk on my left arm and Layton on my right arm, once they were in the dry down they smell the same. In the initial spray time Dusk has a different smell from Layton, but after 10 to 15 minutes Dusk is good.

Agree that it’s hard to find any coffee scent, the slight sweetness makes me feel this is a great scent for office. It stays on my skin 6-8 hrs which is okay. Forgot about the coffee scent, this is still good bottle to grab

The texture of the bottle is trying to create a link with the new Vetiver and orchid lines just with a different cap style. I sampled the original cafe rose last year and really enjoyed it. Hopefully i enjoy this one too although the coffee note was something that drew me to it. Hope you are well as always Erica.. 😊😊

It’s the same bottle shape as Noir pour Femme but with a different label. But yes the ribbing is in line with those. It’s the standard for the signature line.

You have been having so many new good videos, its one of the reasons you are growing so fast in youtube. Keep on it!

Hello Erica! Do you know some dupe of quality for this Tom Ford Café Rose 2023 ? Maybe an Arabic one. Thanks!

What’s deceptive is this seems like a price decrease but the signature line is always cheaper and the prices have gone up for them as well as all Tom ford fragrances. I hope they have a 10 ml of this so I can try a lot of wears before I commit. I love rose and I liked wearing this when I had a decant of the old one. I’m a man and I want more rose perfume. Love Rose Prick.

I sprayed this on in Sephora, it was great in the opening. Get to my car and it’s already masculine smelling on me.

What you think of the Narciso Rodriguez line? And which is your favorite if you have any?

I like Noir de Noir, I used to have a bottle but I sold it because it’s not something I think I would reach for often, also because I bought a bottle of Vanille Fatale at the same time and told myself I could only keep one lol

Have you tried French Coffee (Al Rehab)? If you want coffee coffee, that is is unmistakably coffee. It's like a just brewed cup of fresh roasted black coffee, made with a little cream instead of milk, with just a touch of thick, buttery caramel. I expected it to be very sweet, but it wasn't, and the coffee note, although there is a creaminess, is black. I can't stop smelling myself when it's on me, and neither can anyone else. It smells like walking into a Cafe on an icy cold day, it's gorgeous - comforting, uplifting, warming. I can't get enough. And you can pick it up for around £12.

Bought this without even trying it. Huge disappointment. To be fair the dry down is absolutely terrible. It smells like your hands after using old fashioned soap blocks. I expected more from Tom Ford 😕

That 50ml is cheaper than what I paid for my 50ml of Noir Extreme Parfum. Nice. I love rose as you know. Performance… hmmm… I’ll just go heavy on the trigger 😂😂

Erica, I dropped a bottle of Zadig & Voltaire and it landed on the sprayer which barely works now😡. Any suggestions on being able to get the juice out? The bottle is 3/4 full

:/ you can buy an empty bottle on Amazon and try to use a plastic atomizer to transfer the juice :(

first of all i will say it again this is the colour of hair the suits you trust me i ve told again the winter and i stick with it makes your eyes ... you know now i will be maybe of topic but i am absolutely mesmerised with Ganymede Marc-Antoine Barrois just got it did not expect it and i am amazed try it with high heat of greek summer and worked perfectly but the main thing is that i loved it so wanted to shear it with you because i layer it thou with something discontinued with cafe its a Attitude Giorgio Armani and the result was breath taking so to avoid that discontinued thing the closest is Intoxicated by Kilian an absolute wonder not for summer tho that i have and use it so the combo Ganymede + Attitude or Intoxicated + Ambroxan or Molecule 02 if you like is... there is no words still a work in progress but excuse me of bee so enthusiastic for the development of this we will see

I have the old cafe rose ,but I am running out, the fact this is not the same is a big let down

I think spraying on a piece of paper is not the best way to judge fragrances. It would obviously give off a completely different smell. Realistically you would be spraying perfumes on the skin or fabric, if you did that, description would be more accurate.

Whenever I test fragrances, I always test on skin (: just because I don’t spray it on skin in the video, doesn’t mean I’ve never sprayed it on skin 🩷 generally I will wear a fragrance a few times before I talk about it, unless it’s a true very first impression video

GG Erica! The problem with Tom Ford now is that they either relaunch discontinued fragrances at crazy high price with abysmal performance or they "new" carry no innovation. They even replicate the names in order to attract for fragrances that have nothing new to bring to the table. I predict that they will follow Mr German fragrance company downhill. Too shame ...
