I see this is an old post, but what brand and size are the front and read tires, please? They make the overall stance look great! I think they would look good on my 73.

With no belt connected to the PTO you should leave the PTO engaged so as to not cause excessive wear on the clutch engagement button.

Hey need some advice if you’re willing. Bought one last fall. It was running great. But the battery wouldn’t hold a charge and now it won’t turn over at all. Also they rigged a spark plug into a different base. What spark plug should I use and any idea in my other issues?

For the spark plug I suggest looking at what motor you have. If it’s a 100 I’m pretty sure it should have the kohler k241. I would just go to your local small engine shop and say that you need a spark plug for that motor. And with your other issue on now not wanting to turn over I suggest checking that your battery is making good connections first and go from there. I assume you’ve already tried jumping the battery and still wouldn’t turn over? So on that I suggest checking all connections and cleaning them, and if that doesn’t work you could have a bad solenoid. Could also be your starter generator. Hopefully that helps.

@@gardentractorgarage Thanks! It’s funny, I just went out to the barn and got the spark plug in. Figured out how to unrig what they did. Buying a new battery tomorrow. Thanks for the advice! Grew up on my grandparents farm, but my pap passed away 9 months before I was born, his kids wanted nothing to do with farming, etc, and my dad was killed when I was 2. So I’m trying to learn all this stuff haha.

@@gardentractorgarage Restoring a farmall Cub and a Cub LoBoy. The old stuff is better than this plastic crap. I’d love too add more lawn tractors and farm tractors. Problem is around my area, people want top dollar for tractors that need a ton of work.
