New to me 4 wheeler! 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 650

I traded my 2002 Suzuki Ozark 250 and $500 cash for this 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 650. I'm getting to be a bigger person because i'm getting older and more experienced in riding, so I wanted an upgrade. I do miss my Suzuki. That was a fun and tough 4 wheeler, and it was my first japanese machine too. I miss it. This 650 is really fun though. It goes sideways just as easy as my Suzuki did.

Looks like the one my family has! My dad bought it back in 2010 when I was 7, and we live in a small rural village in Alaska. Almost a decade of it being ridden out through the tundra for hunting, drag racing, driving full speed over bumpy trails, driving it headlight-deep in puddles and lakes, being driven when it was -20°F out, hauling loads of firewood, carrying 8 people at a time, and just having my reckless teenage ass completely abuse it with barely any maintenence has taken its toll on the poor brute. It has a cracked display, a hole through the fender repaired with gorilla tape and zip ties, and no working rear brakes, and the front suspension is out. The starter is broken, but even then, when I pullstart it, it runs like a champ. I'm not planning to get anything new soon, cause the engine still has lots of life in it

Kawasaki knew what they were doing with these quads. They are awesome.

I don't have this anymore. It started giving me a lot of problems about a year after this video. These older ones are known for a lot of issues related to oil burning and valves being chewed up.

I did. I had this wheeler for about a year and a half and did a whole bunch of stuff to it. Loved it. Sold it because it was developing a lot of small problems that I couldn't fix.
