Passed my recert today thank you!!!! I think NCCCO should show candidates what they get wrong so they can learn from it

That is great news!!! Congratulations!!! And yes it would be helpful if the NCCCO would include a thorough report showing questions that were incorrect and why they were incorrect.

Great job fyi thanks for sharing. Getting ready to re certify and this link belt chart is throwing me for a loop. 🤦‍♂️. Great photo from the incline 👍. When I was a corporal at TCSO we took our whole team up there in full uniform. Kicked my but. 😂

Link Belt charts are a little more complicated than the groves that we used to be able to use. Good luck. Manitou Incline kicks a lot of asses. She is 61 years old!!!

How long did it take you to do this? Just one problem. When they give you the test, you gotta do it a lot faster

Yeah, that’s how you do it. It would be nice if you had that much time per question to draw all that shit out you don’t get 4 or 5minutes per question.

If you average 4 minutes per question you will be alright. Done it. Hundreds of others have passed exam using this method. But operators can do it however they want--whatever works for you.

why did you calculate for not needed line... are you going to rig with one part of line? Two parts of line should be a 60lb deduction instead of 30?

Reeved with two parts line but you only deduct excess. One part line has enough “line pull” to lift up to the cranes gross capacity. Leaving you with one part of excess line to deduct. Read the load chart notes, watch the other videos. Let me know if you still don’t get it.

You may be thinking of the LAT (lattice boom) test where all parts line are deducted. The TLL is a different test with different rules for deducting wire rope. Also, on the TSS there is no wire rope deduction--none at all. It all goes back to the manufacturer's requirements found in the load chart notes.

Of course if you are taking the TLL test you certainly can deduct all parts line. You will just get the wrong answer. Just kidding. Don't do that if you want to pass the test, lol.

Deducting line not used makes 0 seance

Not at the moment. I will be starting a new venture over the summer with online classes and I will also be able to do face to face classes for companies. Online classes will have several variations but focus on CCO mobile crane certification--core and specialty exams. I will eventually expand to include materials for tower crane and lift director certs.

Working on it. Probably start with just one set of 10-15 problems. I'll eventually have a set of 40-45 problems just like I have for the LBC.
