Always enjoy these vids, thanks Paul. Any chance you could also review the new X-speed 130, especially compared to the old 130s and the new x-speed 125? I hit with 130s the other day and liked it, had some really nice drives with it, and would be intrigued to hear how the new one handles. Am currently using the eye x.lite 130 (the one from Golan) and really like it's allround balance and feel.

Hi Paul amazing video thanks! How do you think x-speed compares to the heads lastest touchspeed slimbody models? Will you do a comparison? I am after manoeuvrability + power + precision type player. Thats why I play with the Prince Speedport black original but I am thinking to shift to Tecnifibre or Head what would you suggest.

X-speed offers more power, i prefer the extra power it gives me and it also offers great control. The Head rackets are very manoeuvrable with great feel but i don't feel I get enough help with power from the Head rackets, my arm feels tired at the end of the match. I am using the Carboflex X-Speed 125 currently as my racket of choice. Good luck with your selection :)

Hi. Paul. Many thanks for the helpful and thorough review. In broad terms, how would you compare this racket to the Dunlop Hyperfibre Pro 120 (Nick Mathew's racket)?

hi Joao, the Carboflex is stiffer and my preferred choice at the moment, I feel the the Carboflex is the better option if you are buying with factory strings, if you restring the Dunlop then you start to put them in the same category as high performing good player rackets. I like the Dunlop racket but only after i have had it restrung with Ashaway or Tecnifibre strings. Many thanks

pdhsports cool! I have my two Dunlops with Ashaway Zx Micro at 26 and 23 and they do perform differently. I will try to hit a few shots with the Tecnifibre to see if it is worth getting into trouble 😇. In the meantime, I’ll wait for pdhsports to restock ZX micro to buy a few more packs just in case! I might give it a try with tecnifibre strings as well. Any special advice on tecnifibre stringing for the NM Hyperfibre? 305 or something else if you are looking for a bit more power than the Zx Mocro. Many thanks

i have only used it with 305 strung at 27lbs which felt pretty good :)

Awesome vid. Cheers. I’ve heard some people say it is more like the old Carboflex 125 Balsatex, which is a racket I preferred over the 125s, is that about right in your opinion?

yes this is true, mainly because they have gone back to the same grommet strip as the older model. You can no longer remove the grommet like on the 125 S

How does this racket compare with the older model Carboflex 125. What are the differences? I use the older model and think that is a great racket. Thanks

it's hard to say, we think it plays more like the original racket it has the original style bumper strip so weight is the same. My opponent last night has the Carboflex 125s model and had a hit, he really liked it and wants to get one now. I honestly do not think there is much difference, it is just the latest model, new cosmetic and i think that makes it feel better in my hand :) It does have a new technology in the shaft called iBlades.

I've 3 choices 125X Basaltex(black and yellow one), 125S and 125x speed .... what would you recommend?... looking for a one word answer

the 125 ns has a smaller grip size and different cosmetic, that's the only difference :)

Hi Ahmed apart from the extra weight the 135 has a thicker and more rigid frame for the player looking for lots of power.

how does this racket compare to the eye rackets.

eye rackets will generally be lighter, eye is another great option

My son lacks power... would this help him? He is struggling to improve power with his karakal racket.

I currently have a Head holdall as i do not carry my rackets far from my work, it was given to me as a gift from Head and i use the gym a lot with it so its easier than carrying a racket bag :) We also have a Wilson racket bag that is huge that I use if i am taking my children to the club as it can fit squash, tennis and badminton rackets in it! My racket is still currently the Carboflex X-Speed 125 and Salming Hawk shoes.

End of next week we hope to have them!! we can't wait either, we have had a massive response from our customers so far. The first delivery Pre sell is on its way to selling out. Next delivery will be 1st April when they go on sale everywhere in the UK

Lol, its still a favourite! plus its half the price so that's a bonus, you made a good decision. I will try and do a video on my top 5 favourite rackets soon. I'm waiting to see what Dunlop comes out with :) The ashaway Powerkill 120 is by far the most underrated racket out there, everyone who has used one seems to love it.

First of all, thanks for the cool review! Within the same topic, when can we expect a review of the Dunlop Hyperfibre+ Evolution Pro or, even better, a comparison between the new Carboflex and the Dunlop? From your sentence above, should we all be "waiting for news" from Dunlop soon, i.e. new models?

Hopefully get some Dunlop reviews up soon but waiting for the new rackets, the Hyperfibre is carrying over so no change to this model yet just the precision rackets. I might be slightly bias though as i am using the X-Speed :) We have the new Head rackets to review this week also

top material, but its a pro raquet defenetly ..... a lot of vibration even with 11,5 tension , its not a forging raquet.... i do not recomend for beginners or intermediate players
