This just goes to show how texture and skin type play a huge role in makeup. I just want to thank Tarte for listening to the people and taking their time to really perfect this concealer. They knocked it out of the park. I'm one of the people who liked the original, but I didn't love it because it was a little too drying on my already dry skin. The new one looks absolutely incredible on me and I couldn't be happier!!

I notice super fine differences between them. Maybe mix them together to get the best of both? The OG has just a bit more coverage, but did crease a tiny bit by the end of that long a.. day. The new one had a bit less coverage, but didn't crease at all! I think mix them and then it'll be perfect!

FINALLY! I’m so happy tarter releases the ultra creamy range since it seems like they’re hopping onto the natural-finish train (which I am DEFINITELY on board).

I have dry skin but I find that the original shape type concealer by tarte does a great job of covering my darkness under my eyes and doesn't crease on me at all. I will try the new sharp type concealer by tarte and see how I like it and compare it, but I'm like you girl I like my original shape type concealer. Love you girl!! I agree, I never had a drying feeling with the original. I use Medium too. I'll never give it up!

I can’t trust that many beauty gurus , but you honestly convinced me to buy the ultra one and I have combo skin but it didn’t cover as much ! But i still LOVE it and ill also be trying the OG and ill mix them together to reach perfection

If I'm being honest, the Ultra Creamy looks a bit more natural in texture under the eyes at the end of the day, while the original is more noticeably matte/powdery

I think the new one has a little less coverage but after the wear test the under eye looked more hydrated and less creapy/creasey. Minor difference though. Good review. 🙋‍♀️

I feel like I see a bit more coverage on the original side, but that could just be me. I’m excited to give the new one a try. I have oily skin too and honestly the original doesn’t really work to well for me. 💁🏽‍♀️

Love the new one. The new isn't as drying and I found it didn't settle in my newly appearing fine lines like the old one did

I just bought the new one from Ulta! I had a cheap one from target originally but I haven't gotten much sun in the past year and a half so I am much lighter now. Immediately noticed a difference in the texture. The cheap one felt so drying and flaky (could be the retinol I've been using), but this one!!! Its SOO good!!! Prices went up I guess lol, I paid 31 dollars without tax.

@@17knightss2x4 every concealer or product we layer on skin will eventually crease so I guess less product has less chance to crease. I've found the concealer really good really blurs the skin, its very different from any other concealer I've tried because I normally go for a dewy natural look but was very impressed

I used to love the original until right before I turned 40 and suddenly it started aging me by at least 10 years. I tried everything to make it work but nothing helped and I was so upset. My skin is quite normal so it’s not like my undereyes are super dry. The ultra creamy works beautifully for me though. I don’t think it’s quite as full coverage as the original but I don’t need it to be since I don’t have dark circles under my eyes. At least not yet lol.

I’ll stick with the original. Thanks for the review beautiful 🤍✨

Both both I have dry skin and I still rather wear the OG just use a dewy setting spray and you're good 👍 the other one kind of left blotchy patches on the dryer areas .

Wish I could afford this new one!! I have a mini sample soooo. I can't wait to be able to try it. I'll save up. It'll take me a month or two to save up

I use both. I dab a small dot of the original on my inner eye area near nose and then the creamy near my outer eye area so I get the most coverage where I need it and the rest of my eye remains hydrated and creaseless. Works for me, heavy dark circles on my inner eye area.

I noticed the creamy didnt have as much coverage on me too!!!!! i think at end of day it looks better but OG is def more coverage

hi girl! great review, as always... well, the original concealer never worked for me, it was waaay too drying 😬 I got the new ultra creamy one and it definitely feels less drying but I found the coverage to be medium at most, it also starts fading after 4-5 hrs, so while I get the hydration I was looking for, I'm not impress with the coverage, overall, just an average everyday concealer 🤷 I'm glad I got it on sale 😆... greetings from SoCal!

The good thing about the original tarte shape tape is that the longer it last the more it becomes more natural onto the face.

I just watched the unboxing video with you and Lee and found it hysterical I would love to have you guys come to one of my parties. You are right! The original concealer has more coverage. It looks better on you.

I would say neither. They're both pretty drying imo... I think Laura Mercier Flawless fusion is a creamier option

Love the OG and the Ultra Creamy. To me the new one lost just a smidge of coverage. Still very high coverage but like 10% less

I think people make huge mistake bring the concealer so down to chick .. where we have pore area cause you already use the foundation there .. I see professional makeup artist from Dior .. saying we should apply concealer just under the eyes or dark circles .. cause down like this evidence more pores and dark circles

Wait I thought you said you were just using the charlotte tilbury powder foundation when you applied the makeup then at the end of the day you said you used the Bobbi brown cream to powder foundation….I’m confused so you used the two different concealers on each side then set with the dragon powder then used charlotte tilbury powder foundation then the Jaclyn hill bronzer and blush duo….and then you went in off camera over all the powders with the Bobbi brown cream to powder foundation also lol???

Nobody is messing with it. It's still there. Some people just can't wear the original because they have dry skin, so they made a new one to help with that.

Honestly on the creamy side on the wear test part looks less creased than the original.. . . Am I the only one seeing this? 🤔

WHY DO YOU TALK TOO MUCH! WHERES THE RESULT??

You said in one of your videos you don't like lip filler on people that you think it looks fake and you were very clear about that but how someone wants their lips to look is a choice and if someone doesn't like it they can always get it dissolved. Lots of people have filler but with a natural look, the people with huge pillowy lips chose that look and if they don't like it they can always have it dissolved which works instantly. Either way I hardly think someone that is trying to make a living off of showing people how to make their forhead smaller, their eyelashes longer, their nose thinner, and on and on is in any position to judge people with lip filler! Lol You're teaching people how to look fake! Just because makeup washes off doesn't make it less fake than something like filler that doesn't wash off. To be honest if anyone needs lip filler it's you. Your top lip is super small and has this weird thing that hangs down in the middle. You spend soooooo much time perfecting ways to change your entire face with makeup and how you position your hair and yet you're against lip filler? such hypocrisy!! And you of all people need it! Lol
