i feel like having to micromanaga heals is too distracting from the competitive aspect.this isnt a battle royale where u can run away and take time to heal; it takes you away from the fight, its distracting. i dont want to manage heals just like in fortnite i dont want to manage building houses. didnt they get rid of building? get rid of having to manage healing and your Arena will be better

4 years of tarkov, and PVE is the most fun I've had IN A LOMG TIME!

if you play search and destroy modes, thats how it often plays. Bomb only really occasionally gets planted. However, having objective help the flow of the match and help focus the action.

Netcode was explicitly stated as a target for improvement in this interview. Whether they'll deliver... Is a different complaint. Audio though, holy shit yes. How they've neglected the audio system is baffling. We got one update in like six months, and all it did was smooth out room transitions (which still suck) and SLIGHTLY reduce audio pops. Audio needs a lot of work.

ARE N/AN, now with "true believers" game mode. That couch pillow saying Arena is hyped when it infamously flopped completely is a bit of a stretch. I think its Taeyeoff who said it best. ARENA is just another grind to make players miserable in tru Buyanov style. And forcing us to play so you can bump up progress on EFT is a pathetic way of increasing its player count. If Nikita had any good sense, ARENA could be a fun and carefree experience, but thats too much to ask from that helpless egomaniac

Well when dumbasses complain about armor being useless and the devs LISTEN to them yah shit happens. late wipe too so low caliber ammos are bad of course. It's a good thing this happened because it shows the listend to the community weather or not it was a good change its stilll good to see them listening.

Arena is pretty dead in multiple regions, its just a money pit at this point.

They have been very clear about plans for a Scav Life, Clan, and Sniper DLCs since the beginning. These were initially what was meant when they promised EOD all DLCs. Nikita has talked about them since like 2017 at least.

There's plenty of better similar games out there. the only difference is that 1) Arena is still unbalanced 2) Bleeding.... 3) Crickets.wav 4) Bomb mode is still a TDM without tactics 5) Maps are pretty bad designed 6) still desync 7) killcam for the last kill when? and so on...

Tarkov is one of my favorite games of all time (Alongside other popular shooters like ArmA and RB6). But the issue with tarkov is it has become unplayable for the average person. Not only is it infested with cheaters every single match, the game itself has just become such a grind for someone who doesn't have 5k hours to sink into every single wipe. The found in raid requirement combined with not being able to buy half of the good armor/ammo/guns on the flea market makes the game insanely unplayable for someone who can only manage to play 20-30 hours a week. It is now honestly impossible for a person with an actual job and life to be able to get even remotely close to KAPPA until the very end of the season (But the game is already dead and boring af after 6 months). Just wish they would restore the flea market to what it once was so you can buy whatever armor and guns you want as long as you have the money, and still require found in raid for quest items. And is it really that difficult to implement stricter stat bans for cheaters?????? The amount of cheaters that just go around headshoting with 30.0 KDs and don't get banned for it is insane.

Been playing for around 5 years, and same story. Once arena came out, I stopped playing base game completely in favor of that game (even though it shouldn't have been nearly as appealing to me as normal Tarkov). With PvE available now, the game is 1000x better imo. NO cheaters, more room to communicate with friends, less fear of bushes, etc. Definitely try it if you haven't.

@@shaunnormandy Love the idea of PVE, but I played tarkov soley for the fact of player to player combat and the unpredictability of playing against actual players. Playing against AI just doesn't give me the same satisfaction as killing other players. I know it's amazing just to simply not worry about cheaters but PVE wasn't it for me personally.

20-30 hours a week is a lot and way more than enough too keep up, you're just bad. Kappa can be obtained in 400 raids. The amount of cheaters is no more than in any other online shooter. So I guess it is difficult. For me, not a problem though, I barely see any cheaters, may be encountered like 20 in ~1000 raids this wipe. If you play on Asian servers, then it's obviously gonna be way more.

@@ForOne814 it would take around 10 weeks of constant playing by your numbers, over 2 months for a game that is still full of cheaters. I value the PVP in the game now more than ever (I've been playing the game since 2019). I have a 13.0kd with around a 50-60% survival rate this season with 200 ish raids. When I tell you I die every other raid to a guy that has a 40.0 kd and is using a no stock ak with ps ammo and is level 25........There are a shit ton of cheaters still, at least for US east. I have not as much a problem with the quest line being how it is now (I enjoy the new maps and quests), I just have a problem of how long it takes to play the game to get access to mid ass guns and ammo, which you used to be able to just buy off the flea market. Have to dedicate weeks worth of playing just to be able to buy and use m80 with a sub decent dmr build and it costs a fortune. I don't have a problem with it taking me a couple months of playing to get to kappa, I do have a problem when the game makes the PVP and combat system nearly unenjoyable until you hit lvl 35+ And tbf I haven't touched the game in over a month or two, I'm sure cheating isn't bad now compared to months ago, but honestly the game isn't fun past 2-3 months post wipe. The amount of time I used to sink into this game has been killed by the pure greed and ignorance of BSG, who refuse to fix what everyone has been asking for.

Fkn game looking like quase 3 arena. At 9.37 look at how high the caracteres jumped. Devs killed this game.

You are clueless about what the reality of Anti-Cheat in Tarkov is. BSG had been putting in work. They've only had a dedicated Anti-cheat team for about a year, and they have been bodying Cheaters, especially in the last 3 months. If you haven't noticed any change, I have some bad news; cheaters were not the problem you had.

@@xmapa4677 yeah this guy clearly hasn't done any research, I think the biggest thing for me is that BSG is being more open about anti-cheat and banning cheaters in general, couple years ago we wouldn't even get ban reports. It's a good step in the right direction, but you have to realize no online video game will ever not have some form of cheats, it doesnt matter how well the game is coded, people will find a way to exploit it.
