That feature doesn't work ever I don't know why they say the customer can do it when you click search for update it Says always no update at this time

How do you adjust how do you address a trust how do you adjust the navigation north east south west

My update via wifi is not working. I am connected to wifi, wifi is at strength, I can get out on internet on the wifi connection with a laptop, but when I Check for Updates, it just spins and spins. Hours later, I come back, nothing. I shut down, but on next drive I says my last check for update was last month. Any ideas what is wrong?

I asked around and may have found a possible answer. Ford is telling us that the update via wifi is not available yet. There is no set time as to when the update will be available for wifi, but Ford mentioned it will be soon. You can do the update with a USB stick or flash drive. The USB stick must have at least 3gb storage and must not have anything saved on it. You can visit syncmyride.ca to check for updates and download the update onto your USB stick. They have step by step instructions on the website. -CG

Ford HQ tells me today that it's available ONLY via a dealer and says it's a 32gb file.

Good video. That way of update didn’t work for me. I have a 2018 Escape with Sync3, 2.3 version. I follow your steps on the video to update it to the 3.0 and after, about 20 minutes searching, it pops the message of an older update date search with no results. Also... My screen doesn’t show the climate control option. I do have dual climate control and heating seats. What are the reasons for the two issues? Thank you and keep up the good work! Be safe!

Can you confirm that map updates, (Sync 3), for the 2018 Mustang will not be available and nothing in the foreseeable future?

I've been trying to update for the past year, doesn't work, useless, no one at the dealer knows anything about it, pretty sure not even ford knows how it works.

My vehicle has version 1.0 and when I follow the steps I doesn't give me an option to scan for updates.

I recently updated from 1.0 to 3.0 version of sync and android auto does not work for me, it worked once for a bit as soon as I did the update and it has not worked since, I did a master reset and now android Auto in completely gone from sync but it Still reads I am on version 3.0?? any help? thank you!

Hi, I know this is an old post but the same thing happened to me this week. No more Android Auto! Did your dealer manage to resolve?!

Doesn’t work for a software update. You are showing how to do automatic system updates… Big difference.

Can the dealer do this for free ? I connect mine to my WiFi and it just spins and spins even with good signal I already did it via usb followed every step by step waiting 15 minutes in the car with the engine on nothing happened

I found this comment on another video. Sometimes extracting the files doesn't work the normal way and should be done this way. Let me know if this is the way you tried! "after downloading the ZIP file from Ford's site, to double-click the ZIP file, and select Extract All. Then, browse to your USB drive, and extract directly to the USB drive. I had tried wiping the drive and dragging and dropping before. This does not work apparently. Extract All to the drive after download."

Auto updates dont work. You have to manually do it

Tried update today via WiFi, no luck.
