I am an electrician and have the worzburge 850 version quoting 6.5kva looks exactly the same. So The resettable trips on each 240v outlet are rated at 5amps per outlet ohms law volts times amps = watts 240v X 5 amps = 1200watts that is per phase eg each outlet. These generators are rated at 6.5Kva not 6.5KW. so basically in english you could happily run a 1kw electric kettels if you can find one most kettles are 1.5kw and some 3kw. It will power a 750w electric drill. I have tested mine. do not put a 3kw kettel on one outlet the cut outs will melt I have done this thinking each outlet could supply 13 amps. If this generator was rated at 6.5 KW each outlet would be capable of supplying 10amps. 3kw kettel requires 3000w divided by 240v = 12.5 amps. Conclusion ok for running your lighting but not much else. PS fridge draw a considerable surge when they switch on so probably not suitable to run fridges either. This test is showing electric motors with no load on them! once you start to use the tools under heavy pressure the generator will not be able to supply 2300watts on one outlet let alone all three. The generator engine will struggle and vibrate all over the place. Bernard

Peak power output is 2.2KVA, normal use output is 1.8 KVA, the Honda clone engine only produces 3.8 BHP

I have a Wurzburg w8500 which looks the same but different stickers, so!!! this exaggerated amps stated on it etc... Is this like when you have an unreliable employee that says sorry i won't let you down again and tomorrow I'll be in 110% Firstly I find the extra 10% hard to grasp, secondly when the next morning arrives I'm even more confused when they don't turn up ???

How much the out put power?

Got one absolute rubbish 2 kw would kill it had 1.2 hair dryer on it just about able to run it. Only for lighting max 2 kw, the number 8500W is a gimmick means nothing, haven't used it on 3 phase might blow up, ha

I had it for 2y now and peace of crap. It never produces the power actually that is written on. I used some saw with about 1000W on it and it doesnt give the pover it needs. And on many other things it just doesnt give what its supposed to do. There are like 10 different rebranded generators completly the same.

does anyone ever use the 380v outlet

In europe when you comect youre generator to youre house you need the 380-400v outlet

Not a proper test at all. Them power tools will be pulling no current whatsoever as there is no load on the motors.
