In 7-airship,can't you hit the BJR a bit earlier for some extra time?

Nope! Bowser Jr. is actually invincible until he has popped out his gloves and began moving again. However if you time your hit perfectly you will not even see him start moving again. So hits 2 and 3 were timed perfectly in this run. If I had tried to hit him any earlier I would’ve taken damage.

Thank you! I ran the switch version of the game for about 2 years on and off and then switched over to the Wii U version and grinded that everyday for a month until I got sub 26

@@Withums there’s some differences but the main one is that switching characters is way faster which lets you do it a lot more
This is crazy sub 26 speedrunning, the best i've seen
that kamek rng was insane.

You can enter levels as Nabbit by holding the ZL button when you press A to enter the level.

@@Uvideo They made it so that at the final level, the one only unlocked after getting EVERY star coin, you play as your Mii instead of Nabbit, that's because it requires the Acorn Mushroom which Nabbit can't get.
How do you get so much momentum off the vines?

Letting go of the D pad after jumping off let’s you maintain the faster speed from the vine for whatever reason

you just have to hold ZL to change to nabbit on the wii U version of the game

Yeah you can enter a level as Nabbit by holding ZL as you enter. Luigi only runs are also a thing for this game and not much slower at all. My fastest run is here if you would like to see it! kzread.info/dash/bejne/dmZ92tiMddSfoLA.html
