So wonderful that you're speaking about your Grandchildren! You are so blessed. It's nice to see a You Tuber talking about something else besides themselves. Dear Patti, I always look at your recommendations but this one from Green Renaissance resonated so much, it was so beautifully filmed, so real, what a wonderful person you are, and so wise, here I am sitting on the other side of the world in my part of Africa, having sent a very beautiful Green Renaissance story to a friend in New Zealand going through a terrible divorce, and reading her words on receiving it, life indeed is a wonderful gift, thank you for sharing.

With me retiring last July and the pandemic, I have not been taking care of myself that good, so the weather is getting nicer (wisconsin) Im going to start getting out doors more often. Ms. Patti, OMG, I found you today and you are completely changing my mind very quickly about my acceptance of the aging process I am experiencing. I'm on a binge-watch of your videos today. First of all, you are so beautiful. There are so many things I can learn from you. I'm turning 70 this year and have recently felt like I needed to shop in and purchase "Old Women's Clothing". Until now, I have always dressed differently than a lot of women my age. I love going to the local thrift stores and I buy & wear clothes in layers. I would get a long flowing skirt, a tee with a long vest, or a thin, almost see-through cover over the tee. I would choose boot-cut jeans, a tee, and a vest, plus my blue cowboy boots. I like to wear larger pieces of costume jewelry. I do not feel 70 years old and easily feel like I am in my late 40's or early 50's. My issue is with my friends & family that will not accept that I do not feel ready to wear clothing "appropriate" for me, (which by the way, that word does not apply to me). You seem to be giving me permission to dress any way I choose. I have also been cautioned about wearing a little more colorful eye shadow and liner than I should at my age. I especially like lining my eyes on the waterline and also any eye shadow with a touch of sparkle. I lean toward the earth colors adding a gold or silver sparkle on the eyeshadow. For years I have used the Olay products for moisture and Covergirl with Olay foundations. I also like the Bare Mineral line. I have tried the expensive products but find I get better coverage with the Olay /Covergirl products. My 27-year-old granddaughter is very supportive of me and my fashion/makeup styles. I haven't covered my gray hair yet but I want to do so and get a pixie, fly-away cut. I've never had long or even medium-length hair, always short. I also have a wedding to attend at the end of May. My grandson is getting married. My sister, his aunt, who is 18 months younger than myself is wearing a very traditional suit but I'm definitely would never feel comfortable in a suit with everything color coordinated. Her comment was "Well, just don't be an embarrassment to us"-lol. Thank you so much for your videos. You're the best thing to come into my life to validate "the aging me".

I’ve not colored my hair in 3years, Patti and I completely understand your plight of your hair having little to no body without coloring it. I’m about to go bonkers over mine! I’m letting it grow long again and at the moment it’s barely reaching my collar bone. I’m 71, 5’2” and currently weight the most I’ve ever weighed... I’m tipping the scales at 155. Hi Pattie my hubby and I have just found you and we are loving watching you, I reached 65 at Christmas I love skincare, make-up, messing with my hair eg. cuts, colours I try different high and low lights every time I visit the salon (need to visit soon) have loads of clothes, but starting to get better with my choices of styles now, although my husband says I always look gorgeous haha 😂 bless him. Since being made redundant last year after 18 years I've started baking more so I'm watching loads on KZread. Also been a QVC customer for years and have the pilates machine too 👍 sorry I'm ranting on, but it's lovely listening to all your wonder thoughts on life and living it thank you 😊 👍 😘 😘 😘
