You got to react to Why don’t we new songs. It’s two of them, one is a collaboration with Jonas Blue called Don’t Wake me up which released a good month or 2 ago and the other one they just released a few days ago called Let Me Down Easy, that they released themselves.

This MV is based on the Peter Pan (Wendy Darling) theory. We can find out more from their full album coming next month.

There is a theory that they are living in a parallel world and noticed that Vernon covered his face but does not have shadow and the word from the board game in Wonwoo part spells as shadow then Vernon told the other members that they don't have shadow and it shows on Joshua holding a flower when Vernon pulled his hand under the sun then slowly they have shadow and reflection. Then they all fell into the other world which is the dark world and I think that is the concept on their next comeback... when they have scars on their faces...

I think it's like Neverland. They escape reality (growing pain) and likely forget that they are in a dream or an imaginary world. *First of all* -The first scene where Vernon raised his hand above his face, there was no hand shadow. and the ground below collapsed He was therefore the first to know that this was not the real world. -The next scene has a clock that has been stopped by a pin. (They might be do it) like they don't want to grow -Wonwoo has cracks in his glasses??? - Notice some scenes, everyone is shadowless -The next scene is the scene where everyone plays happily. *In real life of the members before their debut. They were playing paint in the green room(practice room)* - having fun until Vernon ran in. Vernon tells about the shadows and the world they live in. He threw flowers to Joshua. Joshua experiments by thrusting the flower into the light. The flower has a shadow, but Vernon pulls his hand slightly. So everyone saw that Joshua had no shadow. -In the shadow it says "belief real remember" -Hoshi drops a vase with daisies falling. The vase was shattered. *Daisy means innocence* Maybe it meant his innocence that he had no more (began to grow) and he also picked up a shard of glass. causing his finger to be cut to the point of bleeding. (Know the pain) - Jun removed the wall until he found a wall painting depicting the moments in this MV. There are happy moments and knowing the truth discover a church that will take you to the real world. until the world of imagination collapses But… the next picture is not in the MV. IT MIGHT BE A SPOILER THE ALBUM IN MAY!!!! -Jun looked at the sun(wall painting) and found a box in a tub of water full of clocks (They might be do it ? as if trying to stop time). The box had the same sun sign on the wall. Could it be the key to another world? Or it tell the truth? - In the next scene, everyone starts searching for the truth. until came across a church that looks like a wall painting They opened the door and walked in. Butttttt! Wonwoo stopped and said “don't wanna say goodbye” (he doesn't want to leave here. Perhaps Wonwoo was someone who first known about the other world. and don't want to go back) -Everyone plays the game. There are people who close their eyes and have to catch others. but next scene,when open eyes. Something has changed and there is no one. -Seungkwan walks in a hall. with the audience being a teddy bear (Referring to childhood?) He’s start singing but he’s look again. That the hall looked gloomy. - S.coup opens his eyes to saw reality. and his shadow returned -Woozi wipes the paint on his face (knows the truth and chooses to leave his childhood memories behind) and wipes the mirror, his shadow return. -The smiley face on the wall translates to tears? Jeonghan saw a smiling face on the mirror that seemed to have been obscured (They might be do it? to avoid the perception of another world). He brushed off the dust and saw himself in another world. that looks different from him -The8 seems to have reached another world connection door. -Jun saw the other him through the glass that separated them. They touched their hands and the glass shattered. -The pin that stopped time fell off (Growth has begun) -Everyone entered the church. Everyone saw their shadow and Their bodies looked fuzzy. (Saw the truth) -Joshua looks at Joshua in another world that upside down. - Vernon stood holding a light in his hand. To cast a shadow that makes everyone see the shadow (the truth) and said “kiss me baby” (like Snow White that must be kissed in order to wake up from the poison) as if saying that he had woken up from a dream - Everyone's bodies started to crumble. The imaginary world collapsed. -There is a scene of a solar eclipse in Wonwoo's eyes. But when the world collapses It was gone - everyone returned to the real world where everything had collapsed. They have traces of wounds. and a confused face

After reading this... I have lost my childhood my innocence and it never gonna come back... It feels so scarry to actually enter in the real world... This theory really gave me goosebumps

This MV really gave justice to the Peter Pan concept which was about our childhood innocence but with the darker angsty twist of growing up and facing the evils of the real world, shown through the gradually darkening world

They fell to adulthood. Since everything started from Neverland from the Peter Pan concept. "Fear is coming" placard on the left side was on the last scene. If you haven't watched "Fear MV" by Seventeen, there might be a "Fear. Part 2" on May 2022.

Yes and Hoshi put the clock with "BOY HOOD" write on it in the water. It might be one more representation of the departure from childhood (or boyhood in a wider way) to adulthood. For my overall interpretation: They realized that this paradise was only an utopia and fears/shadows were still present, hidden from their candid eyes. But once they realized it, all crumbled apart and they faced the reality in which IN FACT they always were (could be a representation of adulthood with all its responsabilities or also of the world as a dystopia).

The fact that this just a pre-release for Seventeen's 4th full album makes me more excited for May comeback!

The concept of this MV: it's based on the concept of Peter Pan. Even the name Darling, Wendy in Peter Pan's full name of Wendy Darling :p Notice the words shadow and grow in the Scrabble? Peter Pan lost his shadow at Wendy's house and he could not grow. So basically the story happening in the MV is that, they're a group of youth who want to live young forever and want to enjoy their innocent days forever and in order to do that and to escape some past trauma they have created this safe zone for themselves (where they are at the beginning of the MV) but the thing is that, they're running away from something and there is only some time before they have to face their pain again. Notice how the clock in the beginning of the MV has been stopped by a pin. It means they have stopped time for themselves. When they are playing with paint in one scene, it is similar to that one time during their pre debut days when they played with paint in the green room - meaning their pure innocent days, they just want to live in it forever. notice how the members dont have a shadow at the beginning of the song, and Vernon at the very beginning of the song when he's lying in the sun notices his lack of a shadow. he's the first one to notice that what they're living in is not real. Therefore he runs to the members in one scene and hands Joshua a leaf which he faces towards the light to notice how he doesn't have a shadow either. It makes Hoshi drop the vase of daisies (a symbol of innocence) and then he pricks his finger (he has felt the pain). Notice how Hoshi puts the clock in water and Jun in the scene where he finds that box with the sun sign on it in the water, the box is full of clocks as well. It also means they have tried to stop time. The members now know something is off for sure so they're looking for the truth and then they run into the church. It is the same church from the scene where Jun peals off the wall to find a painting on it. The scenes from the MV including the church is drawn on it, but the last scene on the paitning is not in the MV. it's probably a spoiler for the album :)) hehe When the members going towards the church Wonwoo says, "Dont wanna say goodbye.." in a sad way. It's as if he knows and has knows what's been up. Perhaps he's the cause for the existence of this universe they were in right now. Now that the members have started to notice something is off the world starts to change gradually. Like when they're playing with the blindfold on, they're all, all of a sudden scattered and alone. Seungkwan roams in the church and is happy but when he turns around he sees a horrific scene. S coups opens his eyes and his shadow that was gone the entire mv returns. Woozi wipes the paint off his face (leaving his childhood behind) and wipes the mirror and sees his true self. Gets his shadow back. The smile faces that Jeonghan drew start to distort as well and Jeonghan notices a glass leading to another dimension, wipes the dust off it and finds a him he does not recognize... The8 also finds himself lost in the other dimension and Jun finds a him he does recognize in a mirror. He touches it and that is when the pin in the clock from the start of the mv breaks and everything starts falling apart. Their happy dream world that was not real and was only built by their suffering. Everything falls apart and everyone falls down into the other world all confused... The solar eclipse in Wonwoo's eyes... That will be explained in the full album i guess heheh The full album is called Face the Sun.. this was the episode 0 of that album as hashtagged by them on twitter. Please look forward to it ☺️☺️ Also please notice how Wonwoo's glasses (the glasses dude lol) his glasses are broken in the scene he solves the Scrabble in.. something is up with this man i tell you 🧐

Darl+ing gives me strong YMMDay and YMMDawn vibes. The sunflowers, the dream stuff, falling, two worlds, Wonwoo somehow being at the center of it all (the rubiks cube in the two YMMDs and the eclipse in Darl+ing). There's lore afoot but no-one's quite sure what.

I think it's based in Neverland and Peter Pan but i also saw a theory about the MV being Plato's cave myth. the boys are in the cave where the shadows are projected, believing that it is the reality of things. likewise, Vernon is the one who comes out of the cave and sees the real world and not the shadows, there he teaches the others that they are shadows and that is when Hoshi drops the flowers. I guess it can also be interpreted as a new chapter in the members' lives, where after passing through the shadowy and dark world they see the light and appear in the meadow.

You literally have 21 degree in summer in your country but in India we literally have 43 to 45 degree we can't even step out of our house in summers .
