Jake will get better as he continues playing with Eric and Bud. People have to understand Jake is filling big shoes.

Jakob was amazing at No Values in Pomona. Jakob just got in there after sobriety so he is much calmer with all the pressure on him

The new song is good. That chorus is sweet as hell. Jakob Nowell is the closest thing to getting real sublime back. He plays the songs super accurate and he's not all messed up like Brad used to be. I hope they come to Cleveland.

The concept of this track along with Bradley's vocal track was lifted from a B-side take at the end of a song called "At It Again" from Everything Under The Sun Box set album.

It's hardly a new sublime song. It's a collabo with an homage to Bradley. It's a cool way to kick things off. I lm looking forward to hearing more.

Listen to 40oz... at least half of it is in line with this sound. I don't think they're looking to sound exactly like Bradley's Sublime....even his sound evovled. You can hear how they're using a mix of influence across their catalog - Cisco kid kicks the dubbing and the drum hard (and no, I'm not saying they sound the same - I'm saying you can hear the influence). Opinions are always good though - keep sharing.

I love Sublime I love where they come from musically. Sucks MTV wont pick you up till your dead. They don't even play music. Brad was a real one though. And that shines through.

I thought it was great I love the old hook.

I think it’s a great song. End of the day it has all the elements of one of the Everything Under The Sun unreleased tracks recorded during the self titled sessions and it’s great to me. If you want to listen to Sublime then go listen to Sublime. But if you’re a Sublime fan who loves the elements of Sublime then I’m not sure why you’d complain about or hate this track. Brad’s dead and gone sadly. But his contribution and guidance to the path that led to this track will last forever and lead me elsewhere in this musical journey.

Everything the old Sublime members have done post Brad has felt a little weird and directionless. I dunno if thats just me but it often feels like hell stoned guys just kinda doing whatever for the sake of it.

I "staffed" for Sublime back in the day. This is a decent track. They have been cash grabbing since before Brad died and before you were born. You weren't even a twinkle in your mom's eye little kid.
