Not just league of legends players, really a lot of people have same mentality in real life. Fail 1 interview for the job => my life is over. Fail 1 decision in the business => ok, that's over, not gonna stabilize it ever again. Get 1 rejection from the girl => going to be lonely for the whole life. I'm working as life coach nowadays and seeing how even very successful people sometime returning back to this mentality from time to time.

League players have stopped even going in with a plan. People don't know matches, power windows, only know simple comps and synergies. The whole plan, every game, is "I'll get fed and carry because I'm so much better than all these other players", and it stops league from being the game it's supposed to be.
