Thank you for the local big box store updates! I was just thinking that I need to head to the Lowe’s and Home Depot in Tilton, and this was a great reminder to do that. I’ve been visiting the Concord Agway often, and need to check out the Hooksett one too. So many fun plant shops in the capital/Lakes regions!

That plant was a Hybrid Crown of Thorns, and I do have one. Really easy to care for plant.

I bought my first Dieffenbachia on a whim a few months ago and girl, it is my most beloved plant now. It lights up its corner and it brings me such joy. I water it once a week in a self watering pot, in semi hydro. It has given me over a dozen new leaves. You should try one. Mine was not labeled but from looking at photos, I think it is Tropical Marianne.

❤ I just bought common plants but still beautiful. I got variegated string of hearts and variegated jade. I'm into the green white and pink combo. Pink princess marble I would love. Love marble vareigated plants.

I found a Thai Constellation at Wal-Wart last week in Decatur, Texas. It had very good variegation on it.

4:54 I went to Home Depot near me today after watching this video and found a Hoya Curtisii. It had some yellow leaves but I wasn’t afraid to buy it since you said it wasn’t a problem. The plant looked healthy. Now to keep it alive. 🤣

I'm so glad!! If the plant looks healthy, it's totally fine! The yellowing is from them traveling and being inconsistently watered. If you catch them before they start to go downhill, it's 100% fine!! All of mine came like that

I just hit my Lowe’s last week in northern NH and snagged a curtisii and the twisted lipstick plant. I went back today because I decided that maybe I wanted another curtisii but they sold out… maybe I’ll have to take a road trip to Tilton 😂

Had to chuckle a bit when you said the Florida green was a good prop project. I’ve had 6 cuttings rutting in water for months, they are doing nothing 😫 they aren’t dying so I just keep waiting. I’ve never had good luck with Florida green cuttings rooting (expect the odd top cut will for me). Have you had better luck rooting another way?

Have you tried putting pothos in with them? I usually do moss/perlite and then high humidity to root most things! 😊

@@jaclynns.jungle yes I have had some pothos in for a while they are well rooted :P maybe I’ll try moss, I know I’ve tried that in the past with no luck either though. Maybe I just have a bad mother plant! Grows like a weed though, I’m always chopping it 😅
