NEW STARTER DECKS | Arcane Aggression | Episode #1

Ойындар

We are playing Arcane Aggression in today's episode. It is mostly an Izzet spells deck that is actually pretty decent from the test run. The video also acts as a guide on how to play the deck or play against it.
This channel started with Starter Decks and we are going back to our roots of the situation!
Enjoy!

Hi there, thank you for your videos. Just one comment, you said around 4:20 that they are not added to the collection, but they actually are. At the moment there is a problem with Arena where many people (including myself) are not getting these decks after winning with them. WOTC has acknowledged the problem and said to be working on a fix.

It's a shame because I thought I had them and crafted some cards, bur now when they finally get added to my collection I won't get the additional cards!

I saw a video on MTGArena the other day playing a fun looking Gandalf Izzet deck. I spent a few wildcards on these rares… I wish I’d known they were coming. 😂 Great video. Thank you. Love a bit of izzet spells.

I'm new to MTG, but loving it. I'm glad I ran into you and your videos. You communicate very well--clear, logical, professional, warmly human. This is exactly what I was looking for (that doesn't happen often). I'm following. Best wishes to you.

oh my, 31 yo decided to learn magic all of a sudden and I was overwhelmed with all the stuff suddenly thrown at me lol. thanks for making videos for peeps like me! I do have one question however, do I get multiple of the decks if I win games more than once? or are these events are just like "win once with each deck and get the cards"? Once again, thanks a bunch! I'll be sure to watch the rest of the series as this one was quite helpful!

I wish WotC was that generous to the community, but... unfortunately, no. They are just one offs, but you will get all of the decks. And it is my pleasure to bring the starter decks to folks! I started the series when I started the channel and will probably always do that series! I feel your pain at starting at 31. I got back into Magic about five years ago... so when I was 31 as well. It is a bit overwhelming, but definitely worth a go.

This is the best deck of the bunch in my opinion. I changed some cards to make it more aggresive and interactive and carried me to gold in standard. Having said that i think you could have played a little bit better but you won anyways so who cares

This Arcane aggression deck is easily the worst starter deck out of all of them, the win condition for the deck is too specific in comparison to the other decks.

  • @coffeestout

It can be... when it goes off, it is insane, but otherwise you just smack every turn for 2 or 3 damage. This deck does take a lot of patience, though.

@@coffeestout I'd say that patience is waiting through 6-7 losses until you draw a hand you can win with without being countered lmao.

Okay, probably the most frustrating game ever. Using this deck I played 20 games. Won ZERO. Maybe there should be a room where newbies can slug it out instead of being obliterated in 5 turns by experienced players. Just sayin'

I agree. I think this spit tries to be that, but these decks are inconsistent as all heck! When crafting, make sure to have 4 copies of each of your best cards to increase your chances of drawing them! Sorry that the matches were rough...

This deck is B or C+ dependent to get to late game and so many people spamming Rebel Armory (Red and White deck) it matches up bad against that one
