The way I see it, in regards to the 8th anni theming with the part 2 LRs, I could see the devs considering the spirit bomb headliners as the respective "endings" of Z and GT so it would fit well enough to have the part 2s as the openings of Kai and Z to represent endings and beginnings as a theme. It's super wonky and doesn't really make much sense with the rest of the celebration, but I guess if they were in the conference room and were down to these 2 and Omega/Kid Buu as part 2s it would make more sense to do the Goku/Gohan bc like, where else could you drop these units and it make sense? I think this especially considering they went with LR Omega for tanabata even though SSJ4 Goku is from the Baby arc, and I honestly moreso than ever expect LR kid buu for a potential super gogeta/super vegito 9th anni TL:DR, it's pretty easy to slot in omega and kid buu in celebrations but would be pretty hard to do the Kai and Z openings as units for anything but anniversary, so they went with the units that they can't really put anywhere else rather than what the community wanted

From a F2P standpoint, having periodic mid releases was nice since I got to save stones. Animations from this year made me more aware about the fact that these are Live2D animations with the apparent rigs and joints when the characters moved their arms and legs and such while releases from last year was a lot more fluid like what you can see from actual TV animations

46:13 i agree with you nano, i think tbh they should change the dragon fist attack and remake some frames of the dragon way more smoother and better cause they definitely can. Also I would like them to fix animations that are not great like how they re-fix the int LR ssj2 Gohan a while ago and the LR Majin Vegeta like they haven’t done a remake or fix to supers for a while I do think they need to go back to that cause some things need fixes especially the dragon fist.

23:35 Idk if you remember, but years ago it used to be common knowledge that Dokkan had two teams that worked on units, which caused a lot of disconnect. Idk if it's still the case, but it would make sense.

Merged Zamasu is easily my fave unit in Dokkan overall, I can't stop using that team, it's cleared so many difficult events and I can throw in units I'd never normally would use and they do fantastic work 😤

2023 was definitely a year but I am at least at ease knowing that they do listen to the feed back we give them well at least the most popular takes

46:16 Just wanted to add to your point about LR Fortnite that they also haven’t adjusted the battlefield currency since its inception. So new players aren’t getting that Frieza and Cell, and old players won’t find them worth wasting the currency on. This is also an easy fix that makes one question if the devs play the game because increasing the currency is nothing more than a value adjustment and takes no time to do. Yet they released this new unit that’s more expensive.

To sum it up guys the major celebration units are Ws while the monthly lr/DFE were ass besides bulma

I play global so my opinion doesn't matter, but 2023 has been alright to me. Maybe it's just my luck because I've pulled majority of units besides nearly all heros units and the android 21 units, but I enjoyed worldwide a hell of a lot, anniversary was ok but Hella value for me with how much I got, and I am thoroughly enjoying the new trio (about 9.5/10 units I've ever pulled has been under 1000 on release) and I am mostly f2p I might spend 20$ on an anniversary or new years deal. If you read this idk why you did but ight.

I honestly do agree with you and respect you even more with your list and I think its a W list and with LR Vegito Blue, Im a vegito fan and I completely agree that its an L release because I thought that its gonna remaster some of his animations but they made it their own "Dokkan Original" and with his transformation its an absolute L for me, and with SSJ3 Goku, I definitely agree with every second that you said because when I first saw it, I thought that there was definitely a KO screen but they fumbled it so I just said that this was an L. My opinion on a few Releases this Year that doesnt quite fit with Nano Android 17´s are a ok Unit because their pre transformed state is not good enough but usable in slot 2 or 3 and transformed he is really good but he needs too long for it. The transformation on his 2nd Appearance would improve him so much imo. Now with more good Androids i do even use him more often and i actually like them. Animations are ok Kale also is an incredible Unit for me shes easy an W and even more with a good slot 1 U.6 Unit but that doesnt change the fact that she herself is incredible. Animations could pre trans. better but are still ok Super Boo bad Placement good Unit but still W Turles. what you say about him was just weird because mine is doing 3 supers with 6mil+ each and with like 800k+ defense idk what you are doing with him but i think hes good but needs more support especially Ki. LR Goku could be so cool but is an easy L and imo the most dissapointing unit 2023 LR Omega is weird to say i like using him but hes an L because he needs so much more Support What you say about TEQ Super Trunks just gives me the same question you gave yourself about other Units "do you even play the Game?" because he is so good in my opinion hes just not the best in slot 1 otherwise hes incredible. On the Animation i think they could´ve given him a bit more but im ok with that i just dont like the active much thats it. int top #17 and #18 could be better but are ok but still would give them an L at the moment LR Ribrianne is an L shes weird and not good enough and i dont know how to run them really the pity is a W but thats it The rest i agree mostly Sometimes i think people want new units always to be the best and if they dont they´re ass but thats just not how a game like this works and imo most of the new units are fine some could be better yah but not in a way most people want them. In my Opinion the Devs went a bad direction on how the game works they should do more events with multiple enemies not just one that u cant stun or do anything with abilities units have because that makes them completely worthless. id like to fight against like 10 enemies were i can stun them or seal them where i do have to think more nowadays this game doesnt need any thinking anymore.

I really like Nano and agree with most of his takes in this video but the world wide blue boys hate was crazy that unit isn’t bad in animation or kits the transformation isn’t that hard to get compared to other units in the game and their built in dodge chance in early game is amazing respect your opinion just can’t agree with it

I don’t think Dokkan fumble 2023 but I definitely see the argument when it comes to animations or regular DFE kits. Next year should be better cause of what they already announced and we got a handful of the non hype characters.

Ultimate/Beast Gohan had so many positives....but he's an L just because he cant be controlled when he did 2 things. I see the argument of that but him on his own isnt an L. He still clutches events for me at 69%. He is a W for sure and before the "legends has 2" Dokkan has a pipeline until 10th anni. We cant do shit about anything until after 10th anni.

it's sad to think that if dokkan had just waited a few months to bring beast out it could have been a standby and way stronger
