Спорт

Sit back, relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the workshop in this series dedicated to dreamy ASMR-style bike build videos. Chilled Builds blends the arts of bike building and filmmaking to showcase beautifully unique custom bikes in a calming format.
Nic's new custom bike build is a mega cool titanium road bike with the BRAND NEW 2023 SRAM FORCE AXS GROUPSET!
Nic and I also caught up with Stu from SRAM for an in-depth chat about the new 2023 Force and I've put together a full run-down video of everything you need to know about this upgraded groupset. You can watch that video here: • New SRAM Force AXS: Ev...

The same people or guy that distributes that Guillem frame also used to distribute that frame under the Van Nicholas name in the Netherlands. I bought the Skeiron several years ago. It was a pretty heavy frame but I didn't mind that as much as something was off with the geometry and the balance of the bike was very poor. You never let go of the bars because you could crash. The headtube and BB shell were not faced and the headset bearing cap rubbed against the frame so I had to file that down. That seat post you show is also the same and the problem with it is the micro adjustments, there aren't any and I couldn't get the saddle level where it needed to be. Also the titanium had blemishes in it that could not be sanded out. I tried to clean up a blemish on the downtube and a hole started to appear and if I continued to sand the hole was getting bigger. It's not good titanium. Sorry to be the downer in the room but I would advise to stay away from these frames.

Nic owns Backyard Bike Shop. I film videos of bikes that Nic builds for his customers and for himself. Nic of course has a relationship with Sram as he sells their parts, along with all the other manufacturers. He’a not tied to any one company or distributor. Sram asked Nic if he and I wanted to make a video of the new groupset if they gave it to use early. Nic said yes. I don’t have a relationship with Sram. The only brand in cycling I have a relationship with is the one I founded, Attacus. RE the frame - the full build specs are in the video description. Fast delivery: It arrived 5 weeks earlier than expected.4. Easy assemblyJust a few cons but nothing major:1. Cheap tin tubes and had flat on first day... but not a big deal. I replaced the tubes.2. Seat is a bit uncomfortable but that's pretty much the same situation with most bikes.3. Seat post is a bit long/high for a smaller size 48 bike - had to saw 2 inch off to fit properly. The lowest setting is too high. The post locking system does not seem to hold well (perhaps because I saw 2 inch off).4. wheels are not tubeless compatible (from what I can tell)
