From the angle that you took the picture of the vest in, the vest does not look boxy on you. Great haul, I also shop in the children’s department too, it’s so much cheaper

I do find that they tend to fit on the smaller side. I have fairly broad shoulders and a larger ribcage and it can be snug in those areas.

I went to Singapore in august and I found this brand, people were absolutely crazy and I had to take a ticket that booked my turn to try the clothes in the dressing room and I had to wait one hour because there were too many women on queue! Insane 😂 And lemme tell you The clothes were very cute but since they were designed for Asian women it was hard for me to find the right fit, small was in some cases too small and medium was too big… idk it was just weird and the clothes weren’t stretchy at all so it either fits you like a glove or there’s no way you can have that piece of clothing

are the clothes standard "asian" size? meaning are they cut smaller? I'm not built like your typical petit asian and wondering if I need to size up.

Totally get what you mean. I think they do account for some more petite asians, so I would say some items are cut a bit smaller. The good thing is that they have every item's measurement, so you can use that for reference! That's what I did and everything fit pretty well. The denim shirt and the jacket are fairly oversized, but I knew that by the measurements. The black shift dress is more snug on my bust area, but not the point where it's uncomfy.
